I like the style and simplicity of this watch. This is my second Citizen watch. My first was a Wingman circa 1992. This time around I did not need all those features. The Eco Drive never needs a new battery and this Garrison model is easy to set. I can even see the day and date dials. I find it most comfortable to wear. This was a gift to myself upon retiring early at 56. I’m looking forward to buying another Citizen watch for more formal occasions.
Great watch, lots of compliments. Only thing I would change would be recess the crystal within the bezel. Feel like I’m going to scratch it up quick wearing this daily
I love this watch, and I got it just before probably the hardest week of backpacking I had. It still stood strong, and survived better than the cheap smart watch whose strap broke off. Absolutely love this timepiece, and will be getting more in the future.
I have had this watch almost a full year now. I have broken the glass twice and had it replaced through the jeweller I bought it from. This is definitely not an outdoor activity watch. It’s heavy and after about 3 months the glow in the dark symbols and hands fade out. It does keep accurate time but mine will get stuck about once a month. Not sure how long the battery life will hold up. If you are looking for a nice watch that will holdup to the elements and outdoors- this is not for you. I would go with something a little better suited for that use.

I pretty happy with this watch, however, it does not appear to have a way to zero it out. The hands do not all point straight up at 12:00:00. The second hand ticks to the half second in between the second marks. I'm not very happy about that. Other than that the watch does everything that I anticipated.

The watch has a relatively large face and body is raised higher than a typical watch. The band is a canvas band that takes some time to break in. The dials work well and show date, day and hour. The watch seems very rugged, sturdy and well made.

The watch feels amazing in my hands to the finish of the watch itself. Only issue is I kind of wish it had a booklet of how to change the date and day on it. Only thing I did have to buy is a new band for it, wrist band that comes with it just is simply to hard to put on and take off. So far I have accidentally tapped the glass on a door handle no scratches or indication of any very high quality for the price. Citizen has my loyalty when it comes to military style watches, yea g shock is well known for that but they lack on the low profile style. Very happy with the watch and brand. Just make note on the wrist band that is stock may want to replace it with something that’s easy to take off and on.
This is a great watch. However I don't have big wrist and I struggle to get the band on. This would be a much better product if it had a longer watch band. Also the knob gets caught on the pocket of your pants occasionally causing the time to have to be reset.
I looked at alot of watches before deciding on this one. After a week of having it on my wrist I believe I made a solid choice. A good value for my money. Good looks, rugged enough for my lifestyle. Time will tell how it holds up, I expect we shall get along just fine.
