I did not change the settings of my watch when I received it since the date, time, and summer time were already set correctly but after 2 weeks of use I woke up with a different time with our wall clock, quite shocking experience I thought I was late. The battery is not low though, I was wondering if it has to do with the radio signal.
I bought the watch in December 23. Since January 24, I've been struggling with keeping it to the correct time. Right now it's running about 3 minutes slow or 24 hours ahead, depending on the date. And it doesn't connect to the atomic clock at all. I've tried indoor, outdoor, in the car, on a hill, nothing helps. Big disappointment for me.
Watch never connected to Atomic Clock in EST zone. Impossible to set and wasted 2 hours with Citizen Tech Support before finally throwing in the towel and giving up!
The dials don’t glow and the third time I wore it it fell apart. Wasn’t even doing anything strenuous!!!
The watch does not receive a radio signal. I put it in same spot as my other 2 atomic time Citizens but this one does not receive the signal. Battery is charged as instructed. I also tried different spots at different locations and still no reception. I even did a reset on the watch. Very dissatisfied
Received watch over one week ago. The time was not set or location. Understand need to visit website for watch to be set (inconvenient as it requires time). The underside of the watch band does not feel smooth related to the watch picture. Surprised in expectation compared to watch value.
Radio signal never received, instructions are slightly off for specific model
I had an eye on the Sport Luxury AT8267-51X first because of the looks, but then decided on the Tsuki-yomi A-T for the titanium case, returned it because it didn’t sync with the atomic clock.
First off this is a technical marvel for a non-smartwatch. My watch collection includes Rolex Datejust and Omega Seamaster. I stumbled across this Citizen when searching for watches with moon phase functionality. My daily wear watch has been an original swiss made automatic Invicta diver i purchased for $800 twenty years ago. The watch can be a pain if I left it in the drawer for a few days. I’d have to catch it up by resetting it and the date. I’ve decided to use my Citizen as my everyday watch. Once it’s set & synchronized it’s completely carefree. There’s no battery to worry about replacing, charging or rewinding it. It syncs daily in the early hours, but once it’s set it will keep time. I really like the moon phase on the dial. It’s very lightweight as others have pointed out. The positive is it’s light, but it also gives the illusion it’s a cheap watch. I like the watch face being a rendering of a moon. I wish it was a little sharper. I would like the bracelet to be shinier. It almost seems like it’s slightly tarnished. I cleaned the bracelet to be sure it wasn’t. I would also like the crystal dome to be sharper in appearance. But those are cosmetic. I purchased it for its carefree function to use everyday. I’m happy with that most of all. I wouldn’t buy the watch at its original price if $850, but it’s a good value if it’s on sale in the $600 range.
Very nice watch, I love the way it looks. Not a watch guy so I just bought this off a whim. If you don’t know your wrist size just buy a size up if anything. You can always remove links to your size :)
