More beautiful in person. Lightweight, great build and good quality. Readjusted band was a nice added touch
I think the watch is fine but I do believe the ability to read the time at night is very weak in its lamination of the numbers and plus the hour and minute arms. My other concern is the ability to receive the Atomic Signal as I live in Florida and our new home is all concrete block with all steel studs and my weather station is having trouble getting the Atomic Signal and it is only 6 feet from a hurricane resistant window and it fails to get the signal on many occasions. I did address this with your warranty people as I only have 30 days to return it if it fails to get the signal.
So far I am satisfied with this watch. Most promising feature is to change time zone easily. As usual being Titanium metal makes this watch very light. I can pretty much use it for the entire day. But I am it sure about the purpose of Moon phase but it looks fancy!!!
Beautiful watch, very light titanium case and bracelet make it comfortable to wear. Better lume than expected, relatively easy to operate. If you don't live in a good "atomic clock" radio reception area, there are apps that mimic the signal and spoof the watch to set the time! Only niggle is the minute hand lags the seconds' by ten seconds before lining up correctly on the dial. While many quartz watches have an issue like this, my Oceanus is spot-on and I'd hoped this Citizen would be as well.
Very nice watch for the price. I believe that it is a good value for the money. Colorfull and very accurate. Love the fact that it is accurate and always ready wear without resetting any of the complications.I would buy it again!
I really wanted to like this watch because of the moon calendar. Always have enjoy the moon. The watch is very nice but was just not for me. When you down at the face of the watch the section that is the moon always made me think the face was dirty. Like it had a smudge on it. The watch is also very light which I know a lot of people like what it was not for me. Don’t worry Citizens made the return process quick and easy.
Overall, it is very good watch. It is only susceptible for a band scratches. I have noticed small scratches on the band's clip. Probably from putting my hands on the table while typing on the keyboard.
Has almost all the features I want in a watch; titanium case and bracelet, eco-drive, automatic time keeping synced to the world clock as well as a great design. However I do wish it was offered in a larger face.
Pros: The tech is cool. Perpetual calendar. Moonphase controlled via radio waves, so you never have to fiddle with it every few months to get it right. Titanium is light and well made. Cool dial in theory that would be even better if I could actually see it. Citizen not properly sizing it aside, it is comfortable to wear. Cons. Unless you catch the light just right, this watch dial looks nothing like the press renders or enthusiast photos. The issue is no anti-reflective coating. Citizen made a mistake not using AR because the selling point for many people is the dial they see in photos. Unfortunately, IRL it is dull and uninspiring. With a large flat crystal above a dial that is also made out of some kind of crystal, it is a reflection sandwich, so the dial usually is a very dark and dull. If I were to buy this, I'd buy the grey, because the colored dials are just going to get washed out. This is essentially a cheap quartz fashion watch with great tech. Like most quartz fashion watches, the shiny bits are a little too shiny, the flat sapphire crystal not helping matters. A lot of people seems to like this watch, but it just isn't connecting with me, so I returned it.
I had a previous citizen but forgot the name. This one is nice but unimpressed by what seems like a cheap band. My previous seemed more sturdy.
