I have been wanting this watch for a long time now. The moon phase intrigued me and I loved the look of the dial. When I received the watch, the looks did not disappoint. I was actually happy that the dial wasn’t as bright red as the photo, and the moon phase looked great. But there were several things about it that just seemed “off”, for lack of a better term. It is extremely light, but the surprisingly gritty bracelet made the whole watch feel like a cheap piece of plastic on the wrist. Also, the seconds hand was pretty misaligned with the indices. Finally, the lume was pretty underwhelming. I am surprised, because earlier in the year I bought a Zenshin Chronograph that looks and feels much more polished and expensive, and that was actually quite a bit less money. Still love Citizen, but this one missed the mark. Returned.
Face design is amazing. Had to download directions to set watch up. Watchband is coarse. For the price point should be better
The watch is very nice. But when making the selections I had chosen to add H.Olivares as the name. Maybe I misunderstood what that meant. Also, I thought we would get a special tool to help adjust the wrist size of the watch.
I had to return the item due to the size. It is smaller than I thought.
I had my eyes on this particular Tsuki-yomi for awhile and finally purchased as a fathers day gift to myself. It was to be my 12th citizen in my collection. I was excited until opening when I was suddenly underwelmed by how bland and muted it was in person. The online photos and color pop! but in person the deep burgandy red has almost a pinkish hue and the details of the moon face are almost grainy and 2 dimensional. Like printed from a cheap printer. Not at all as sharp as the photos. Next to and in comparison to my titanium divers it was no contest. As for the functionality it worked as it should as expected of Citizen.
The watch has a nice presence, very light but the lumens is as bright as claimed and the band was adjusted but the links that were removed were not in the box! Everywhere I bought a watch and they adjusted the band they put the links in the box. It was terrible that Citizen didn’t do that!
