I’ve had this watch for 8 or 9 years and had it put away for at least a year and barely found out I don’t need batteries even better
It's a nice looking watch. Nice color, good size, Eco-Drive is a plus. I get compliments when I wear it. My main complaint, and it's a deal killer, is that the hands are pretty hard to read. They're gray with a dark, polished border in front a gray background with complications. I can't just glance at the watch to tell time. Telling time with my watch is kinda important. Because of the lack of readability, I don't wear this watch much.
My first "big boy" watch. I've owned it for about 9 years, and I still love it. It really nails the "blackout" aesthetic perfectly. I will say that the finish on the clasp wears off very easily (as is the case with other dark colored Citizen bracelets). Replacement bracelets will cost you nearly as much as you spend on the watch, if you purchase directly from Citizen, and the finish is unique enough that you're not going to find something identical in aftermarket options. The other thing is that the crystal scratched very easily for me. Easiest of any watch I've owned, honestly. With that said, I love this watch enough that I have replaced the bracelet and the crystal, because it just looks that great!
Awesome watch. Plenty of compliments even on the first wear.
This is my first black watch. I have three others. I wish it came with a sapphire crystal instead of mineral. It is a little bit hard to see the face after dark it doesn’t illuminate other than that pretty cool watch.
I bought this watch back in 2017 shortly after it's launch. I wear it as often as I can, to work, out for pleasure and everything in between. No scratches, never misses a beat, the quality can not be beat. I live a modest life so 550 to drop on a watch was a huge purchase and I would buy it again. I have since bought 2 more eco drive citizens and love them but this one is the go to. 9 years later and its still the favorite, you will not regret this purchase.
Wish it was a tad bigger but besides that I love it looks great feels great
I love this watch. I don't have anything bad to say on it. It's very legible. The chrono works great. They probly should've done something about lume but clearly that never stopped me. It's a "milspec" watch for couch commandos, let's be honest here. Great watch, love it!
Bought this watch for myself as a birthday present, never had a “real” watch before as an adult. Could not be more pleased with it! Looks fantastic, I find myself looking at it for no reason other than it looks phenomenal. Lume could last longer as I work night shift but other than that, phenomenal
This is an absolutely beautiful watch. A bit bigger and heavier than my first eco-drive from 2012 but not uncomfortable. Had a bit of trouble pulling the stem to set the time but easily fixed with a hammer (lol). Looking forward to many years of wearing it with style.
