Didn’t buy from citizen but absolutely in love

I’ve owned this Watch now for about a month and started collecting citizen watches about 5 months ago, the main issue that people have with these watches is that you can’t read the dial, and while that is true if it’s absolutely dark outside in any other condition I never have trouble. The watch has a very expensive and strong feeling to it with just the right amount of weight. I’m hoping to further my collection soon and get more of the nighthawk line up in the future! Great job citizen, you’ve created another masterpiece!

I bought this watch for a company party it look great but before you buy its very dark and hard to read but looks great in my opinion

Best watch

I bought this watch back in 2017 shortly after it's launch. I wear it as often as I can, to work, out for pleasure and everything in between. No scratches, never misses a beat, the quality can not be beat. I live a modest life so 550 to drop on a watch was a huge purchase and I would buy it again. I have since bought 2 more eco drive citizens and love them but this one is the go to. 9 years later and its still the favorite, you will not regret this purchase.

I’ve had this watch for 8 or 9 years and had it put away for at least a year and barely found out I don’t need batteries even better

It illuminates

Everyone says you can't see it at night...How about you charge it in the sun then the dials will light up in the dart. You can see the time in the pitch dark

Super slick

I've wanted to get a citizen watch for many years, this Nighthawk is my first. This watch is beautiful. The build quality is above reproach. Warning to those who try to use it in low light, you just can't see the dial and that's okay if you know about it before hand. Also I got my size off by a little and they sent me an extra link no questions asked. The replacement of the link was super simple. Great watch, great customer service.

Ignore the 1-Stars. Best looking black watch ever?

People saying that they can't read the dial are just being contrary. Seriously, it's a non-issue. If you're not a fan of a blacked-out design, then you got the wrong watch. If you want the best-looking blacked-out watch on the market, then this is for you! I mean that wholeheartedly. I've not seen another all-black watch that looks as good as this one. Even the other Nighthawk models don't come close. After hundreds of wears, I did begin having some issues with the end pieces of the bracelet popping out of place. This was frustrating, but I can't even knock it down to 4-stars because this watch is just beautiful and help up for years before that started.
