I love the looks of the watch. However, the so-called leather band began fading and turning to green within a month when it first appeared and progressively got worse.
Nice watch - online. Date is so small one would need to use a microscope. The band is the main problem. It's too small for a man's wrist. There isn't an option for a larger band unless you get a 'non-citizen' band. I know as I have been down this road once before. I learned this time. I returned as per Citizen.com return instructions. Citizen emailed me a return label. I printed return label. I repacked/closed and taped the box the watch was sent in, handed the box off personally to my UPS driver exactly within the allotted time-frame - 3 days. When I check the online site which produced the label for me to use, there isn't a record of receiving my return. It has been three (3) weeks. I will be calling tomorrow. To be contined....
Beautiful watch bought as a gift for my dad. He has average wrists and has never had an issue with fit. While the band did technically fit, there wasn't enough band to make it feel secure. I contacted customer service and learned there were no alternatives, not even a purchase of a different band to match the watch. He chose to return it even though he loved it, such a shame.
Watch face looked better on line than in person, strap nice but small for my 8.20" wrist and no options to buyer larger size. I thought returning but didn't want the trouble.
I bought this watch in May of 2018 and everything is good on this watch except the accuracy. Citizen rates this quartz watch at +/-15 sec/month. It has always lost time, but lately it seemed to be losing more time. Checking accuracy with the Tool Watch app twice, it measured -1.3 sec/day and -1.9 sec/day, well outside of Citizen's parameters listed for this watch. I should not have to measure accuracy with a quartz watch.
No instructions came with watch and "date" is virtually impossible to read.
I love the watch and the look, however the great looking band is too short for a normal sized man's wrist. Called Citizen, they have no larger band for this!?
