I bought my Brycen on a cruise and love it. Would have liked a light but maybe my next watch will have one.
I purchased this watch about three weeks ago. I love the look and also the overall layout, but my issue is the second hand keeps stopping but the watch keeps accurate time. I agree the date window is really hard to read.
The watch is almost ideal. It’s absolutely beautiful in person! The only downside is that the strap was not long enough, and my husband had to buy a longer strap on Amazon; the company did not offer any additional strap size options.
Nice watch - online. Date is so small one would need to use a microscope. The band is the main problem. It's too small for a man's wrist. There isn't an option for a larger band unless you get a 'non-citizen' band. I know as I have been down this road once before. I learned this time. I returned as per Citizen.com return instructions. Citizen emailed me a return label. I printed return label. I repacked/closed and taped the box the watch was sent in, handed the box off personally to my UPS driver exactly within the allotted time-frame - 3 days. When I check the online site which produced the label for me to use, there isn't a record of receiving my return. It has been three (3) weeks. I will be calling tomorrow. To be contined....
Seems the quality is good, great looks, easy to read... except the date. I don't understand why they make the date sooooo small; it's not really usable 99% of the time (unless under direct light with eyeball stuck to glass). Hands are luminous but not the hours, so you have to estimate the time. I wish they had a backlit option though, because I don't look at my watch almost immediately when I go into a dark room or at night outside. By the time I need to see the ..time, there's no luminescence as it lasts only a few minutes. The timer goes up to 1 hr, not enough for a regular activity (class) that goes up to 1.5 hrs. It would help if the bezel rotated, but it doesn't. The band is leather but it may be too short for some men. I have an average wrist size and as you can see in the picture, it's tight. It makes it slightly harder to put this on because the length is shorter than most original bands that came with other watches I owned. It's a nice watch and I'm keeping it. I like Citizen watches. Even on sale, this is not an inexpensive watch. Obviously value means different things to different people. A few years ago, I can't see myself spending this much for a wrist watch even if it had atomic time keeping, sapphire crystal & backlit (this doesn't any of those features). Registering it gives you and additional year of warranty for a total of 6. I inspected it closely, it's brand new and probably made in Japan. I'm assuming so, because on the back it says "Japan Mov't" I'll update if I encounter any problems in the future. My other Citizen watches have been reliable.
I bought this watch today from May Company at a great value. I love the light color dial and the leather strap, both of which are very hard to find. Comments about the date box being so small are true, but I don't really care about the date function. Company web site does not seem to be updated for this watch because searching on B0612 returned nothing and I had a hard time finding the instruction manual for this specific model.
The leather band looks amazing and sporty. The watch functions beautifully and the eco-drive is a must have in your collection. The reason it is not a 5 star... YOU CANNOT READ THE DATE! Unless you are in a certain light, the date is unreadable! I am looking into a magnifyer for it... but it is useless. Almost returned it. But I love the dial too much.
