Seems the quality is good, great looks, easy to read... except the date. I don't understand why they make the date sooooo small; it's not really usable 99% of the time (unless under direct light with eyeball stuck to glass). Hands are luminous but not the hours, so you have to estimate the time. I wish they had a backlit option though, because I don't look at my watch almost immediately when I go into a dark room or at night outside. By the time I need to see the ..time, there's no luminescence as it lasts only a few minutes. The timer goes up to 1 hr, not enough for a regular activity (class) that goes up to 1.5 hrs. It would help if the bezel rotated, but it doesn't. The band is leather but it may be too short for some men. I have an average wrist size and as you can see in the picture, it's tight. It makes it slightly harder to put this on because the length is shorter than most original bands that came with other watches I owned. It's a nice watch and I'm keeping it. I like Citizen watches. Even on sale, this is not an inexpensive watch. Obviously value means different things to different people. A few years ago, I can't see myself spending this much for a wrist watch even if it had atomic time keeping, sapphire crystal & backlit (this doesn't any of those features). Registering it gives you and additional year of warranty for a total of 6. I inspected it closely, it's brand new and probably made in Japan. I'm assuming so, because on the back it says "Japan Mov't" I'll update if I encounter any problems in the future. My other Citizen watches have been reliable.

I have been thinking about buying the watch for a while, it has an elegant and at the same time casual style...I love it but I don't give it 5 stars because it is very difficult to see the date even with glasses...ah, I bought it...😄
I bought this about a year and a half ago, love the leather band, the watch looks complicated but is so simple to use, heavy which is what I like, couldn't have made a better choice.
I’ve worn this watch daily for about 6 months now because I really like the look of the face. The only downside is the band. The coating on the leather is wearing through like crazy. It seems super cheap relative to the price of the watch itself.

The Brycen is a great entry level watch to get for someone. The details on tachymeter are really nice to look at. overall I really like the design.
Got it on sale for $240 + GST. Very happy with it even though my wrist is 6.25". I have a fairly flat wrist though. I absolutely love the white cream coloured dial, with black hour and minute markers. The orange chronograph hand and dial ring add a nice pop too. I also like the shiny leather rally strap although it's long for my wrist size.

This watch is the 4th Eco I've bought and probably my favorite! It's a great size and the ivory color stands out as the perfect highlight to anything one wears. Plus no batteries or winding, can't go wrong! It's just a great timepiece!
I bought this watch this month and I am happy about the look, design and accuracy but the date is so small and for someone with the glass hard to see
I love this handsome every day watch. It is very sporty, accurate, and the eco drive tech is A++!!

I bought myself the black face version as a treat two weeks, easy to view the time and tachograph/stopwatch.i now have 6 citizen watches, great brand, all my others have a bracelet but its nice to have a strap for variety or if you dont want the watch moving about on your wrist, its a thick quality leather too.highly recommend this watch.
First watch I received as a gift was a Citizen Brycen, and ever since this has been my favorite series of watch. Blending more antiquated styles with the latest in timekeeping technology, this is faithful to retro chronographs of the 60s and 70s. Unlike some brands that will use an immitation tachymeter that does not sync up with the second-hand, this piece features a pressurized start/stop count needle to professionally track actual timed-out readings!! True chronographs quickly drain batteries as they draw more power when timing out lap counts. So, the value of this being one of the world's few solar-powered graduated chronographs cannot be understated. What stylistically makes this a real winner, is the off-white face with numerical numbering in place of roman numerals. Designed after automotive speedometers, this makes a statement to racing fans everywhere. Citizen has truly outdone themselves with this design.
Its a bit simple compared to some of the other watches for the price but if simple is whar you want then this is perfect
My wife surprised me with this beautiful timepiece for my Birthday. I love the classy and sporty look of this watch and leather band! It is also very comfortable!

I’ve had this watch for a while now and it’s just a great watch. I can say that I own 3 Echo drive watches and love all 3. The quality is top notch and the look is just brilliant.
I´m a brnad´s fan, I have 8 Citizen watches and this one is fantastic. I really like its retro sport look.

This is the watch I purchased my boyfriend he loves it.
I love the looks of the watch. However, the so-called leather band began fading and turning to green within a month when it first appeared and progressively got worse.
Nice watch - online. Date is so small one would need to use a microscope. The band is the main problem. It's too small for a man's wrist. There isn't an option for a larger band unless you get a 'non-citizen' band. I know as I have been down this road once before. I learned this time. I returned as per Citizen.com return instructions. Citizen emailed me a return label. I printed return label. I repacked/closed and taped the box the watch was sent in, handed the box off personally to my UPS driver exactly within the allotted time-frame - 3 days. When I check the online site which produced the label for me to use, there isn't a record of receiving my return. It has been three (3) weeks. I will be calling tomorrow. To be contined....
