Bought this watch and had to return it. The hour and minute hands were hard to see in anything but a well lit room. I could not see the hands in a room with moderate light and the luminescent hands did not stay glowing more than a couple of minutes.
I bought this a few months ago and overall it’s a great watch except for one thing that drives me nuts that I thought I could live with. I cannot read the time in low light conditions. Nothing about this watch is “luminous” like they claim. Because of this, I have a habit of checking time with my phone, so this watch is more of a “look good piece” than it is functional. I’d return it if they would take it back, but oh well. I guess I’ll have to do my homework and research whether or not a luminous watch by Citizen is actually what they say it is.
This is my 4th citizen watch. I love them, great designs, long lasting and never fail. The draw back to this one is that you can not see the hands in lower light settings. I wish the hands were white or a brighter color so you can read them.
This watch is for my son and he will be getting it in June forvhis birthday 6/20 and we are going on aa family cruise. He will get it on the cruise. I will sat he has 3 other Citizen watches and loves them.
Bought this very recently and am very pleased with it. Everyone comments on how nice it is. This is my second Citizen watch among many other brands. I will wear this regularly. I hope the finish stays, as it's simply fantastic looking.
I bought the watch a week ago and very happy with the purchase.
I love the look of the watch, but have a hard time telling the time because the watch hands blend too much with the face. Hands should have red color like the stopwatch hand. Does not have a night time glow either.
Just putting it out there that this watch does in fact have illuminated hands and markers, contrary to other reviews. Just purchased this and it illuminates fine in the dark.
