I bought an ecodrive watch 20 years ago, and while I was skeptical about a light powered watch at the time, it never once stopped, (in fact it's still running, dang thing just wont' quit) so it was a foregone conclusion that I'd replace it with another Citizen Ecodrive. I've had the watch for about a month and have been absolutely delighted! It's a beautiful time piece and I can't keep my eyes off it. Functionally the perpetual calendar worked as advertised and when we went from November 30th to December 1st I didn't have to touch it. The atomic timekeeping is accurate to the second, I know this because I've check it with an alexa device on several occasions. The only slight criticism I have is that I wish it would have been available with a titanium band. For me, whether its belts of watch bands, leather is either too tight or too loose, that being said, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would highly recommend this time piece.
Watch was defective upon receipt, would not charge and could not manually set the minute/hour hand nor the date. Additionally, watch band is too small. Went back to website and there was no choice for different lengths. I own other Citizen watches and really liked this watch. Contacted customer service (not easy to get a live person) who were professional and helpful. I wanted to exchange the watch, unfortunately they were out of stock and, this model did not come with a longer band. So the best they could do is give me an e-gift card so I could order a different watch or a full refund. I returned the watch and awaiting my credit. In the end would have thought Citizen’s policies would have offered some additional help or compensation. Returning my money is a no- brainer, the watch did not work, which I don’t understand how that happened.
I was given a limited edition Ecodrive 15+ years ago. Brown Leather strap rose gold black dial crono. This year I decided to buy an additional Ecodrive and found the Attesa. Owned it for 6 months now and absolutely love it. Held up well on the boat all summer being wet and beat up and this watch never missed a beat. The strap will eventually fail so I will need to replace down the road. Citizen Attesa is A-
I have purchased three Attesa models, all are amazing timepieces. The titanium case is extremely lightweight; the watch floats on your wrist. The color changing face is gorgeous and creates eye-catching interest; every change of the viewing angle throws off a mesmerizing swirl of blues and greens. Attesa is the convergence of art and function.
