Brains and Beauty
Awesome watch, very happy with the purchase. Love this watch's brains with its radio controlled time. It updated for me the morning after I unboxed it, including correcting for daylight savings time. It's a beautiful piece, too. I was a little hesitant to go with the blue face, as I'm an old school black, silver, or white kind of guy. However, since all my watches are those monochrome colors, I thought I'd give this a shot, and it immediately became one of my favorite pieces.
The only minor drawback is its band. The black silicone is comfortable and it actually looks better than I thought it would. However, the downside is the clamp with holes in the band don't allow for micro adjustments to fit on my wrist just right. Therefore, the watch doesn't stay seated on my wrist perfectly, so I end up having to adjust it throughout the day. Also, the silicone clasps that hold the excess band do not smoothly glide across the rest of the band, making it more of a challenge than it should be to tuck in the excess. Silicone against silicone creates a fair amount of friction. The negatives do not amount to a deal breaker, though, and one can always change out the band.
I still highly recommend this watch to someone looking for this color of time piece!
