Great watch, quality and extensive features!

Owned this watch for a couple of weeks. Had to buy it through Ebay since it wasn't sold by Citizen in the Netherlands. I asked Citizen why and apparently it's determined by regional interest and functionality. Which worried me at first but even the radio feature works perfectly in Europe so I don't see a reason not to sell it in Europe. I really like the design, I wanted another Eco-Drive for their reliability. I've worn a Eco-Drive for 7 years now and that previous watch never needed any technical maintenance. The watch has some great features that really make it worth about 400 US dollars I paid for it. Although I find the hooks on the folding clasp a bit flimsy and wonder if they last the test of time (pun intended). Hopefully citizen can replace it when it's needed too. I wished they made the clasp a bit beefier, maybe even CNC milled to makes sure it lasts.

New Promaster Navihawk

Just purchased this for my birthday. This is the second Citizen promaster hawk i have bought, the first one is a nighthawk AT. I have owned this watch for five years now and has been perfect throughout this period. This has the same movement so i know it wont let me down and will always tell me the correct time thanks to the daily radio signal. The Build qualitity and specifications of these watches is great. My only negative comments regarding this watch would have to be about the skeleton hands. They are hard to see with just a cursory glance. I feel that if they were orange or some brighter colour they may be easier to pick out. Also the second's hand has no Lume along with the hands on the two upper sub dials. Last but not least is the bracelet and clasp. The bracelet has no micro adjustment ans can only be sized by the removel of links and the design of the clasp is not to my liking. would prefer a deployment style clasp. I hope this review will be of help to someone if thinking of buying this model. Cheers

Home run! Packed with features!

I absolutely love the nighthawk citizen eco-drive watch I recently bought. I wish they had a 20 year warranty on the watch like they did with my first Titanium citizen eco-drive watch I bought 24 years ago instead of just a 5 year warranty which is what I believe they have on most of not an their watches now but regardless of the warranty, I'm very pleased with the watch. The watch band is absolutely beautiful and easy to open and snap shut. My biggest problem has just been how to figuring out how to set all the functions simply because it's a complicated piece of hardware in such a small package. I've got the time and date set as well as the year I think, but since it has keeps track of the date and year when the user of tracking leap year, it got a little confusing for me but I think I got it set right. The radio controlled feature that allows it to keep such accurate time in 24 different cities around the world has been a challenge for me so far but I've not had the time to really sit down and read through the instructions carefully enough to get that radio controlled antenna set up yet. I've got my time zone set up already so that awesome it keeps track of those plus it has a rotating dial that rotates both directions giving out a few more functions just by using that dial. I'm able to keep track of time for example if I need to know when 20 mins is up I just turn the big N to 20 mins pay the minute hand and then when it reaches the N I know. You can also find North anywhere your at in the northern hemisphere using the dial. You just turn the N to the hour hand on the watch then by placing the sun in between the N and the 12 that the northern direction. Good for it your ever lost in the woods for example. I love that it has a power guage showing house much charge the battery has left just by pushing a button and I love that it shows the day of the week on the face of the watch as well. Overall for the price of this watch I think it is a home run! It's packed with features and much better looking in person then the photo truly lets you see by looking at it on their website.
