I received this as a birthday gift and it’s my second Citizen watch. I like all of the features but I do not think it is user friendly and I had to watch a few videos on how to set it up. The watch is a little top heavy and this band does not have the micro adjustment's like my other Citizen watch. So it’s either too tight, or loose. I cannot get that perfect fit unfortunately.
This is my 2nd Citizen. My 1st was a Caliber 2100. It’s been fantastic but time for a cleaning and a new power cell. Great service going on 10 years now. I like the look of the PCAT. The dial is handsome and functional. I expect this watch will be another solid, reliable timepiece.
My brother gave this to me as a birthday gift. We have both worn Citizen watches for many years. I really like the features such as the automatic timekeeping and how I don’t have to manually adjust the calendar days or adjust for daylight saving time when it comes. The watch went from Feb 29th on the leap year and rolled over to March 1st all by itself. I only wish the strap had the older micro adjustment so I can get that “perfect fit”. The watch is heavy, so you choose to fit it tight or loosen it with that small link but it still moves around your arm a bit. Other than that no complaints.
This is my second Citizen Atomic Watch and I found its quality and workmanship to be excellent, as expected. However, if you are expecting the blue face to be apparent in normal light you are likely to be disappointed. It actually looks slate gray unless you place it under a bright light and, on top of that, use some imagination. I have had others look at the watch and they had the same impression.
