Great timepiece, but …

I have had this watch for over 6 months now, and love it’s functionality and time keeping, but honestly I can’t read the time without spending 25-30 seconds looking for the hands against the background of the face. Too thin and similar to the face. It needs more contrast for readability, then it would be perfect!

Almost perfect

I love this watch. I bought an Eco-Drive watch about 12 years ago and it's still going, I decided to buy the PCAT because I liked the looks and was ready for something with a few fewer dings in it. I have not been disappointed by the PCAT, the radio function for setting the time works perfectly and was easy to use. The watch is beautiful, the grey with the blue accents just look great and this watch looks appropriate in a suit or in a t-shirt and jeans. I only have two complaints; the date is set very far back in the face so it's a little hard to see if you are looking at it at an angle, the only other problem I have is that the hour hand and the minute hand are a little too close in size and shape making it a little difficult at time to tell which is which (especially in the dark when you are relying on the glow in the dark paint to see where they are).

But for one thing…

This is my third Citizen atomic clock sync watch Each is or has been a reliable, well-made treasure. I can not recommend it better than repeat business. One problem with this one was that whoever sized it for me at Citizen didn't seat the pin holding the links together properly and the band fell apart. I put the pin back tightly. But for that quality control faux pas it is another treasure.

Love the watch

I love the look, feel, and tech of this watch; my only complaint is the lackluster luminosity of the dials and markers. Even after charging it in the sun or under a bright light for hours, the glow dims to useless within a few minutes. It would have been nice if they had included a light or even used a small amount of tritium... granted, that would have increased the price.

I got a different citizen watch for my soon to be husband 7 years ago but it’s finally seen better days after him wearing it daily. This was such a wonderful purchase to replace his old watch and I’m so excited to see him open it on our wedding day to wear with his suit!

Citizens PCAT

My citizens watch arrived today. I opened the package and there it was. The work of years of craftsmanship and excellence. The watch was worth the wait. Now I don’t have to worry about winding the watch of changing the time or date because of daylight savings time. The features and benefits are more than enough to keep me coming back for more. Excellent Choice

I bought mine 3 years ago with zero issues, and this is a quality watch. Still performs precisely and I get a lot of compliments about it's style. There is no set up needed. It does everything automatically and no need to fumble with time changes as well as traveling to different times zones. It will search for a time signal that are placed in every time zone twice a day. Buy it, you won't regret it.
