Ins and Outs

The watch was a gift from my wife for our 50th anniversary. It arrived set to PST, understandable. But after almost an hour on the phone with a lovely, helpful lady, we couldn’t get it adjusted to EST. I looked up a local, authorized Citizen dealer and took it to him. After a week, he couldn’t get it set either. The area representative said to take it up with Citizen. Not helpful at all. The return process was the best part of the transaction. Citizen provided a mailing label and I returned the timepiece in its original package. A refund was issued promptly. As a PS, I returned to the local Citizen dealer and purchased a Citizen watch. No where near as nice as the first one, but it keeps the correct time.

Beautiful Piece

I bought this as a replacement for my father as a retirement gift. The original Citizen watch purchased for him is in repair (currently waiting to hear about the repair cost) and as I talked with dad about what he "really" wanted, he said he wanted a gold watch. This fit the bill. I had it sent to me, and set the time zone for him and he is extremely pleased with this piece. I'm excited the he now has what he wants, as he deserves it. Nice work, Citizen...it's beautiful!

So many compliments

Probably my go to watch at this point. Wear it almost daily. I get compliments on this probably once a week or so at least, usually by complete strangers. I’ve sat at bars and had guys with Rolex and Omega on their wrists and they are coming up to me and telling me “that’s a nice watch”. Feels great on my wrist, not too heavy but you know it’s there. The radio works well and very accurate.

Quality, function and comfort.

I’ve had this watch now for three years. It was a replacement for my Eco Drive, Citizen watch that was 17 years old. The new model is an updated version of the watch I had. So far I have been extremely happy with this purchase and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Citizen watches.

My favorite watch.

Wearing this watch almost daily for almost one year. Adjust time, if even needed, flawlessly whilst I sleep. Has adjusted to and from daylight saving time accurately without any issues. Has been submurged several times and runs great. Crystal still looks new. Plating looks new. Very comfortable on my wrist. Charges in minimal light. Easy to read face except date window sometimes has a shadow. Overall, sets itself every morning, charges in any light and holds the charge, very water resistant, great luminosity on hands, easy to read, many functions, and looks great. This PCAT is not the most expensive watch but it out-performs most in every category. I'm hoping that it will continue to function flawlessly for many years to come.

Works great once you figure it out!

This is a beautiful watch. And once a person figures out that setting it requires starting on the LAST page of the manual, all is well. You have to reset the watch before you can set it. Logical, right? Lol- Also, we still haven’t figured out of it will change time zones automatically when we travel. We will find out soon.

Great Watch

I love the PCAT. I got the one with the gold band and black face. The quality is impeccable. I have several Citizen watches and love them all. The Eco-Drive systems are incredible and the atomic and satellite functions are unmatched. I also recently purchased the Attesa 35th Anniversary Watch. I rotate between the PCAT, Atessa, & and my Skyhawk AT, which I've had for over 15 years and never had a single issue with it. Citizen makes great watches. I love them all. Thanks.

Love it

Decided on this for a treat and not disappointed. Great style and a good weight to it. I used the site fitting bar for the bracelet and it was still too big; that's the only down fall for me. I'm a big guy so in the future when I use their guide what it says I'll order one fraction lower

Lives Up to Expectations

This is a stunning gold watch that you can set once and forget, well almost. I believe you have to turn on/off daylight savings time. But the calendar sets to the correct day even on leap year. And with the atomic radio sync it seems to be good to half a second at any given point in time. Sapphire crystal is a must! I have another Citizen with a sapphire crystal with zero scratches even after knocking the crystal numerous times against sharp edges. The downside? It's heavy. The chronograph minutes sub dial does not have hash marks. It can be a bit complicated to set up the perpetual calendar, although mine arrive with the correct date and time. It's a bit complicated for a formal watch. But I don't mind that, I'll still wear this watch on formal occasions. I intend to get a dark brown alligator leather strap as another option. There is a titanium model PCAT and that's worth considering (my other Citizen is titanium).
