Lovely, elegant wristwatch. Packaged in a very sturdy cardboard box. It was set to West coast/ pacific time but it was easy to change it to EST. The date was correct! Concerns: the gift message was several sentences long. But, in between each sentence, were these characters, “
” making the entire message peculiar. Also, at this price point, instructions are only available on the web. A simple page of ‘how to’ instructions for the wristband and its adjustments would be very helpful. The setting instructions, included on the receipt/ gift message paper, were buried after the warranty, but before the returns in about a size 8 font. I dislike having to go online for instructions on a product that I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing rather than having it provided with the product. A beautiful watch despite having to look elsewhere for the operating guide.
Bought this watch about a year ago. Really like the watch and its features especially the solar and setting features. Stopped wearing it as I hated the band which I replaced and now wearing it again. Have had a number of compliments on it since.
I bought this watch at the Hudson’s Bay Company about 8 days ago, and the clock face is now winding back and forth, and refusing to tell proper time. The second hand is stuck at 0 seconds and now the minute and hour hands do not work. It says in the product manual that a fully charged eco-drive watch should last 6 months or longer when charged under sunlight for half a day. I was wondering if anyone else had noticed this. I would love to hear from Citizen directly about this issue and receive a refund.
I am a huge fan of the Citizen Brand; however, the watch band on the PCAT is a horrible choice, It is uncomfortable and for that single reason alone, I returned the watch. I already have 6 Citizen Eco Drive watches and would definitely purchase more, but not any with the "new clasp" that comes with the PCAT.
Great watch. The band or strap is terrible. The intent of quick release on a typical leather strap is noble. Unfortunately the implementation is a disaster. The metal quick release maintains constant pressure on the inside of your wrist and digs into the soft tissue next to your veins. Contacted Citizen and requested a replacement strap. Disappointing response no replacement or solution provided. I own 20 Citizen watches and this strap is not representative of typical Citizen quality. Very disappointed that Citizen would not provide a simple leather strap as a replacement. Citizen claim was they had none??
I've had this watch now for a couple of weeks. Why everyone wants a review immediately after buying anything is beyond me, but my first impressions are good. The watch does what it's supposed to do. It is beautiful. The strap is heavy duty and will take a while to break in, but that's a good thing. The manuals available can be confusing as there are mixed up descriptions that, I'm guessing, include other similar watches. If you are patient and spend time with them you can sort things out. For instance it does have a chronograph function, but the manual depicts the minute hand on the small face (has the day on it) with minute markings. This watch does not have those markings, and yet it still will function as a chronograph...not too useful. At any rate it is a very nice watch.
A great watch, east to read the hand movement and dial face. Downloaded instructions were easy to follow.
Beautiful watch! It's my second Citizen and am very happy with both. Definitely a learning curve to setting these, but once you figure it out they are great.
The watch is exactly what is offered on the website—luxurious and casual at the same time.
The watch is excellent, it works very well. It tells time accurately and has many functions. I like the eco-drive series, and it comes with a five year warranty. A Citizen watch is a quality product!
