I bought this watch because of the GPS feature. I’m a pilot and have been wearing Citizen Skyhawk watches for a long time. I returned the watch two days after I bought it. It was a disappointment. The watch is heavy, compared to my Titanium Skyhawks. Citizen is not making Titanium watches anymore. The other thing that I didn’t like at all is that the watch is dark. You can’t tell what time it is when there’s not much light around. The phosphorus on the hands is very small and none of the hours on the face has phosphorus on them, no lighting either.
I bought this watch a month ago and I am very disappointed. By far the worst citizen watch I ever owned. It is clunky and complicated and the gps feature does not work as advertised. The hands do not illuminate so seeing the time in a dark place is out of the question. If your looking for a new citizen watch bypass this one.
The satellite feature is not working at all, I tried to correct it several times by watching the video and reading the instructions but neither were helpful. Plus mostly you have to stand in the sun to see the darn thing. Could they make it any darker?
Just got back from a family trip, took this watch specifically because of the time zone changes, it never changed. After three days the only time it was accurate was when we returned home. You can’t even manually change the time. If the main feature doesn’t work, what’s the point? Also the glow in the dark features don’t light up very much in the dark. Great looking watch, but what’s the point if the main feature doesn’t work?
