Well designed watch with many unusual features. Alarm, stopwatch and ability to sync with satellites all work as designed.
I received my watch in the mail today. And let me start off saying. The pictures of the watch online don't do it justice. It's a simply gorgeous time piece
Fantastic watch and extremely light. Love how it feels on my wrist.
The Hakuto-R is an OUTSTANDING watch. Can be worn for casual or formal. Super light weight because of the Super Titanium components. I've had lots of comments about the watch.

I bought the Limited Edition Hakuto-R that came out last Fall, and when I saw this one I had to I had to get it as well. I'm on Zoom calls most of the time, with the occasional work dinners, and I cannot tell you how many compliments I get on this watch! My wife was NOT happy when I bought this second one, which is the same but different from the first one I bought, but I told her it is an investment in my career! The aesthetics are stand out and the story around the lunar pilot exploration program is something that everyone seems to love hearing about. Not to mention, how different it looks from other watches. Every time I look at my wrist I am happy with my purchase(s).
I didn't want to spend the money but I'm glad I did, I'm picky about the esthetics of things like this especially for the value. I love this watch, however I wish there was a durable or replaceable transparent cover for the image on the back. After just a week of normal wear the band has caused several fine scratches in the acrylic image on the inside when I am not wearing it. The clasp has also gotten some scratches pretty easily and I've been very careful not to damage it. Maybe I overestimated the coating, I just didn't expect fine scratches to occur so soon with all the hype about titanium strength and the coating applied. Utilities, style, and functionality are exactly what I wanted in this watch.
This limited edition satellite watch is a very alluring, very unique timepiece. Only 1000 of these have been made worldwide, though the fact they are un-numbered is somewhat disappointing given the cost. The look of both the watch face and wristband give impressions of what the lunar surface may be like. Considering the cost, beauty and intricacy of this watch they could have been lengthier and more detailed in their writeup. Citizen watches of 1/4 the cost include a much more detailed description of their watches and features. I would love to know more of the back story of this watch which accounts for it's value. Nonetheless, this limited edition, masculine timepiece will be proudly displayed on my wrist and dresser for many years to come.

I was STOKED to buy this watch. I already own the 50th Anniversary Edition Super Titanium watch and love it, so naturally I wanted this one too. Well, I have owned the watch for less than two weeks and the finish is already wearing off on locking clasp. This is extremely disappointing for a watch that costs $3500.
