I've never, and I mean NEVER, had a nice watch. As a millennial, I've always used my phone or apple watch to tell time. However, like many, I've always appreciated the art of a well-crafted watch but could never afford it. This model, however, totally hit all my checkmarks. Eco-Drive, 200m Water Resistance, Fun Complications, Modern Styling and importantly for a first-time buyer, "Made in Japan." If you're able to take advantage of the generous sale going on right now, I couldn't recommend this watch more if you're looking for your first nice, "grownup" watch, like I was. The only knock I'll give it is that I wish it came with a bracelet instead of the band. But a 22mm replacement is fairly easy to find.
I absolutely love this watch. It has a beautiful green dial and the GPS feature keeps great time, no more changing the date when the month has less than 31 days. I just wish they had a bracelet style watch band instead of a rubber style band. I bought a Citizen Strap 59-R00665 Promaster - Sailhawk bracelet band and it looks great with the watch.
Better paired with Citizen 22mm bracelet. Satellite/Atomic timekeeping, diver's. Please make DST setting automatic/configurable by city.
Watch is well made and attractive. In real life the dial is a rich green color that is very attractive. The pics from citizen make it look washed out
