A beautiful comfortable watch .. the face color is too dim in relation to the hands so it’s hard to read the time …
I just got this today, and I love it. I never spent this much on a watch before, but I'm not disappointed. It's a beautiful watch!
The Ariel is a beautiful Disney Princess/Citizen timepiece as well as a piece of art! It’s neither tiny nor so big as is popular now but is a size medium watch. The MOP (mother of pearl) face glitters in the 4 cardinal points with 4 diamond chips in tiny metal silver disks while the lower half has an etched silver &slightly gold mermaid tail & waves to shimmer & remind one of the timeless tale, its heroine Ariel or your True Love who gifted you your watch! I did not realize that a larger diamond & purple topaz (that looks like this month’s February birthstone & mine, an amethyst) move freely from SE to SW in a 90° arc at the outside bottom edge of the watch in a silver ring that surrounds the watch face but is closed at the top. I like that there is a 2nd hand & a clear sapphire crystal. The bracelet opens half left & half right which gives more flexibility, symmetry & beauty to the piece. The entire watch is silver stainless steel though the MOP face is a pale aqua with hints of purple-pink in the light. There are no numbers nor illumined hands, the hands are minimized by being outlines of open centers. This shows off the simple beauty of the flat face & crystal as a clarion call to the bearer that “Above the waves, adventure awaits,” as inscribed on the numbered case back. A gift of love: a dressy casual, wearable, timely art-piece to treasure (especially if like us you get the Ariel half-off!)
An absolutely beautiful watch! Very comfortable and fun to wear! I would absolutely recommend to anyone who is an Ariel fan. And I love the fact that I never have to worry about a battery!
