2d Part of Christmas Present for My Wife

My wife picked out this watch along with a Citizen xC model. We both liked the sales/discounts being offered on citizenwatch.com. Although this model was the less expensive of the two watches my wife liked, it looks quite exquisite. She loves the watchband and watch face. Also, it is very easy to manually set date and time.

I like love the band. The sapphire crystal is exquisite.No ticking sounds allow me to sleep like a dream.

Great for lefties!

I've had this watch for a month and I'm loving wearing it! The minimalist, sleek design is stylish and functional. And ecologically sustainable. Even the diamond is lab-grown. I wanted a watch that didn't require replacing the battery, and I chose this because I like a large watch face (but not men's size, as I have a small wrist). I wasn't sure that I would like the band on this one. I used to prefer leather, but I wanted something more sustainable, and this one is made from recycled polyester. It looks like it's crocheted, and it's very pretty. An added plus is that because it has those tiny spaces in between the fibers, you can insert the buckle tongue anywhere, so the band will fit perfectly no matter your wrist size, without having to punch in any holes. But perhaps the best thing about this watch is that the knob is on the left side of the case/dial, so it's perfect for left-handed people! I'm wearing it on my right hand, and it doesn't get in my way as much as when I have to wear a watch on my "active" hand.

No need for elaboration

The beauty of this watch for me is found in its simplicity, and quality. The care in its making extends to our mother earth, and for that I am grateful, too.
