I got this watch as a Christmas gift and I love it with the exception of some of the links having scratches on it. I am very careful with my jewelry and I am not satisfied with the scratches on the band of this new watch.
I bought the Peyten watch to sort of replace my older citizen watch I think I've had for 10 years. It still works but it's a little small for my wrist. I really like this watch. The mother of pearl dial is pretty making it look a little more feminine and is the right size for my 6 inch wrist. It keeps the time well. I made the right choice in picking this watch for myself.

I have been shopping for a new watch for a while, and this one caught my eye with its classic style and mother of pearl backing. It truly looks even more beautiful in person. As with other reviews, my only comments are that the glow in the dark hands can be hard to see without complete darkness. But this has not deterred me from wearing it every day.
I really wanted a blue faced watch but Citizen only makes them in ladies’ sizes or mens’ sizes. This one is 33mm and a good size for my 6 inch wrist. The stainless steel is brushed, which is what I like so it’s not too shiny. The mother of pearl is a little flashier than I’d like but it seems to be more subtle because of the design etched into it. It’s lighter weight than the Calendrier which I also loved, so this is more practical for day to day use.
I recently purchased the Citizen Peyten watch and absolutely love it. The fit is perfect, and it has just the right amount of weight, enough to feel substantial without being heavy. It looks amazing on my wrist and adds a touch of class to anything I’m wearing. I may be late to the “wearing a watch” party, but I’m so glad I finally showed up. This is a true statement piece that I know I’ll enjoy for years to come.
If you're only going to buy one watch, this is a fantastic choice. The nacre background looks incredible and gives it color and texture without looking gaudy. It's still subtle. The two-tone band goes with pretty much anything you can think of. It doesn't look out of place with basically any outfit, whether you're wearing a t-shirt or getting dressy. If you were going to buy 3 or 4 watches I bet you can get a suite that can handle all those situations, but if you're like me and just want one nice watch to handle any situation that you plan to wear until you die, I would recommend this one.

I was needing a everyday watch that can go from casual to dressy. This one definitely fit the bill. The sizing is perfect and so far is keeping perfect time. Loving the fact that it charges with light and no need for battery changes.
This will be my new everyday watch! However, I purchased 3 watches with sizing serve, all were the correct size, but 2 of them had many more links on the bottom vs the top when closed, see pictures below.. This causes the solid underneath folded part of the clasp to to hit the bone on the side of my wrist. When sizing links should be balanced when closed. I had to take it to my local watch shop and pay to have it corrected.
