I purchased this watch to replace my 13 year old eco drive. I love the size of the dial. The hands and markers are easy to see. They glow in the dark and are easy to read in the dark. Date is easy to read and offset a bit. I really love this watch. Citizen warranty is excellent. Eco drive is the way to go.

Spoke this watch into existence.

I wanted to buy my watch a mechanical watch. Her mom wears a Citizen so she wanted one too. The only caveat is she said it needed to have a DARK PURPLE DIAL. It seemed like they didn't exist. Then out of no where this came out a few weeks ago, so I was able to get it for her for Christmas. It’s perfect.

Watch is very thick and chunky.

Great watch. Easy to read. Face color is a very very dark purple/ blue. I was worried it would be too purple. I measure my band size according to Citizen instructions and the band was too tight and I had to put one link back in. Had I seen the watch in person, I probably would have picked a different style, as the watch face is VERY thick. It is almost twice the thickness as my previous 2 Citizen watch faces. This makes it a little uncomfortable and bulky to wear with long sleeve shirts, sweatshirts, narrow cuffed jackets, etc.

I love the watch. The only reason not five stars is the manual is a bit confusing especially the parts on the solar charger. Also I still can’t figure out the lume
