I was casually browsing on the Macy's website for watches when I stumbled upon Citizen's Corso eco-drive. It instantly piqued my interest due to its stunning yet simple design, so I bought the white dial Corso at Macy's, but I immediately went back to exchange it to for the blue dial as it exudes a sportier yet classy look which perfectly reflects my style. I own another solar-powered watch from Seiko, and I love knowing that I don't have to worry about switching batteries at all for my two watches. I've been wearing it for a few days now and I still can't stop admiring its beauty. The eco-drive has now become my go-to watch for work and day-to-day outings.
The Corso is a smart looking watch. The dark blue background along with the contrast of the hands make it easier to tell the time without my reading glasses, this was my primary purpose for buying this watch. The face is a medium size. Personally, I would have liked to have the face a little larger just for low reading vision reasons. It is water resistant and has a bracket clasp which were prerequisites as well.
Beautiful watch. The Citizen quality stands out with its fit & finish compared to other watches at this price point. Let's add the EcoDrive system and 100m water resistance and it's a winner. This is my wife's new 'Every Day' watch to go along with her Diamond EcoDrive that I bought her about 10 years ago.
Lovely watch and I am very pleased with it; it is beautiful and keeps accurate time ... I am saving it for when I go out and will purchase another style for everyday use that is more water resistant for working outdoors and in the barn . I do have one suggestion; please style some women's watches with larger faces; as we get older, our eyes are not as good as they once were.. I do love Citizen watches and my original one still works beautifully. I have had it for many years, but the face is tiny and I have trouble reading it now, which is why I purchased the lovely Corso. I would definitely recommend this style .
Attractive and sturdy watch. The dark dial makes it easy to see. I hope it lasts as long as my last Citizen Eco-drive, which was still going strong at 15 years old when I accidentally flushed it down the toilet.
