It’s hard to see the date. It doesn’t have a magnifying spot over the date to see it. I wish I could if noticed it before I bought it.
Purchased this watch for my mother-in-law and she absolutely loved it! It’s a classic watch with dark blue face to give it a little pop with her every day wear. She loves the dark dial making it easy for her to read time. This is her first Citizen watch so she's not used to the eco-drive technology. I have to remind her that all she needs is any light source for the watch to work.
The piece is beautiful and lives up to the general Citizen standards. Unfortunately, and it is mostly because of me, the watch is a bit too small for me, especially the calendar dates are very hard to see. I had to return it and purchased another model. I really appreciate the return policy of Citizen.com, although they did take their time - it was more than two weeks before I got my money back. Still it was a good way for customers to experience the watch before they decided whether to keep it.
