I needed a Citizen watch to replace the 18 year old Citizen watch I was currently using. (it needs a bit of work now after 18 years.) I chose this Corso. It's reminiscent of my older one but with some upgrades! This watch has glow in the dark on the hands and dial. This one also has the day and date. So far the watch is just what I expected it to be, a great watch. The eco drive is fabulous. WR 100 as well. Easy for me to read the time at a glance. Love the glow in the dark feature, it's neat to be able to read the time in dark places! I also love the catch on the band. It's easy to use and is like a safety feature compared to my older one. I consider my 18 year old Citizen watch to be the best watch I've ever had. That's why I had to buy Citizen again.
I just bought this to take the place of my old Seiko that required a battery every year.
I like the fact that it has "gold" acccents since my wedding set is gold and I wear many gold bracelets. I like to co-ordinate my jewelry. Also love the brushed silver look.
It was finally time to replace my old Citizen watch, which I might add that I had for 20+ years. It still worked fine, but was starting to showing its age. I asked my husband to find me a new watch for Christmas, and as always he did a fabulous job finding me the perfect watch. My new Citizen is elegant, but still can be worn every day and with silver or gold jewelry. I love that this one is an eco-drive; no more changing the battery. I couldn't be happier with this watch; Citizen provides quality products that last.
