I bought this watch after seeing it featured in People magazine. It’s a classic timepiece and I especially like the eco movement so no batteries have to be replaced. I own three other Citizen watches and wanted rectangular face because it’s so timeless. I love the sapphire crown pin. Others have commented on the bracelet style band but I like it, probably because I have another watch (different brand)with the same enclosure and am used to it already. As for the color, it’s a grayish black that works with black, gray or navy so that’s also a plus for me. The face is a little smaller than what I was expecting so be prepared for a dainty time piece, but you won’t regret owning a classy watch from Citizen.
I just received my new watch and am absolutely obsessed. It is gorgeous and classy. I don’t want to take it off. Definitely a great purchase that I’ll wear everyday. Highly recommend!
Overall, I am happy with the Bianca L. The strap is not a true black but more of a muddy brown-gray color, and the apple leather doesn't look high-end enough in my opinion. I plan to have it replaced with a genuine leather strap in true black. I also dislike the butterfly clasp system, preferring a classic buckle. The face is quite small, but ultimately it's a beautiful watch. The blue cabochon is a nice touch and I've enjoyed wearing it so far.
Color is not what I expected! I thought it is black and white. But it turned out very yellow and grey. I am confused. The quality is great so I’d like to replace this if this was mistakenly sent wrong item. If it is correct one, they should change the picture on the website. And I’d like to return.
It is gorgeous and classy! However, the number 4 is not rightly printed following the Roman numeral system. It should be “IV” instead of “IIII”. Unfortunately I only realized this after I had already taken off all the tags, so I am not sure if I can return it.
Citizen Response
I ordered this watch from the Citizen website. It was very much smaller than it looked on the screen. When I tried to put it on I couldn't get the metal fastener that works with the leather strap open. I had to call customer support to figure out how to get it open. The metal fastener under the leather strap looks awful. It ruins the leather strap look. I had to return the watch. What a let down. My how things have changed. I have a 20 year old eco drive metal band watch that still works perfectly and that I love; however, I won't buy any Citizen watch again unless I'm in a store and can see, touch and try it on.
