Bought this for myself while waiting in the Fred Meyer jewelry shop and getting batteries for my other watches. The bill for the batteries was $92.00!!! I looked in the case at watches that would never need batteries, and this model caught my eye instantly. Others reviewers on here are completely INCORRECT when they refer to the DIAMONDS in the watch. THEY ARE NOT DIAMONDS!!!!!! They are Swavorski crystals....very different indeed. Still look nice...but not diamonds by any stretch. I get many compliments on this watch, and it's dressy or casual, depending on what you're wearing. Definitely the most versatile watch I've owned. Great purchase! The face is mineral glass, and I work behind a desk. I do have 2 rather large scratches on the face, and it seems as if the glass face is a bit soft. Also the top part of the metal band closest to 12:00 has separated itself from the watch case, but still holds the watch in place. Not a biggie.
