beautiful but scratches easily

Firstly, the watch is gorgeous. I absolutely love it. Unfortunately, after a few months of wearing it, the crystal was completely scratched up, almost opaque. I do wear it every day and everywhere, but I always have with my watches, and this is the first time it has ever happened to me. I sent it back for a new crystal, but I'm sure it will just happen again, so I guess I won't wear it as much. Really disappointed.

We may also place our timepieces on surfaces in various positions, which can also cause scratching. We are sorry to hear that you're disappointed. Since you wear your watch every day, you may want to keep an eye out for what is coming in contact with the crystal, so that scratching can be avoided in the future. Good looking but weighty and hard to set

The Citizen watches always have a top place in my heart. I had wanted a more elaborate model with more features and chose to try this one. There is everything to praise about this watch with the many features and the beauty of it. However, there are two reasons that prompted me to have to return this. First, it is too thick and heavy for my taste and my wrist felt weighed down. Second, Citizen company failed to provide a specific instruction manual for this particular model but instead kept on pointing my husband and I back to the manual of other similar models - note those other models have distinctly two buttons, whereas Calendrier has one, with a small built-in button (requiring a tool). My husband had to exercise his engineering mind for almost two evenings in order to set all the features for me. If it had been me alone, I would have given up long time ago. He said - do you want to deal with this every time you need to set something? Naturally, the answer is no. So for those who can deal with these two issues, you can give this watch a try.

Five stars BUT

Love the watch, BUT it was so hard to set. Clearer on-line directions with an accurate picture of the watch would have been SO appreciated. Tempted to return the watch before I FINALLY was able to set it; GLAD I did not.

Disappearing Numbers

This watch is gorgeous. The only drawback is that the date numbers on the face are very difficult to read due to reflections and the color.

Nice watch

This watch is beautiful. The problem I have with it is that the day, date and month are so small I need a magnifying glass to read them. Other than that the watch is great and fits well on my wrist.

Beautiful but super hard to read

The watch is absolutely beautiful but the images on the website and even most member images make it look like you can actually read the information on the dial....Sadly this is not the case. You can see the time and the moon phase without any crazy movements. If I rotate my wrist justtttt so I can see the actual day but month and date are nearly impossible to read no matter what you do.

Hard to see

I loved this watch from the pictures. But in person it is soooooo hard to see the month dial, day dial, date hand and second hand, maybe if you’re in your 20’s lol. Disappointed to spend that much and not be able to see it even with my readers on .

Love this Watch

I love this watch. The website was easy to navigate and shipping was very fast. The only issue I have was that the watch was not resized. I had requested that and I got a note in my watch box that it was, but it wasn't. I'm having to take it to be resized.

Beautiful, but not blue

I love this watch. The case width is a bit big for my 6.25" wrist, but I liked the face design so much, I decided I didn't care. However, the face is a milky whitish mother of pearl, not the iridescent blue pictured on the site. It's still beautiful, but the picture is misleading (which seems to be the case for a couple of watches on the site).

Very nice watch. Small disappointments

Beautiful watch with very nice details, but found it hard to adjust to my wrist width. One link made the difference between too loose and a little too snug. I also expected the color to be more on the purple end versus blue, that said, it's still very beautiful.
