I bought this about a year ago and it is PERFECT with one exception. Sometimes when the month shifts, the day gets screwed up and I have to manually adjust the date (for example, in February where there are 28 days). The instructions to set up the watch are complex but with practice they get easier. It is a beautiful watch and I love it with my whole heart!
Thrilled when my watch arrived - it's the perfect size to clearly display the features without being overly bulky. There were reviews saying it's difficult to use - I looked up the instructions and figured it out pretty quickly though. It's not difficult enough for the negative reviews I saw, glad I ignored them and ordered anyways!

Beautiful watch and exactly what I was looking for in a new piece. The video instructions for setting the calendar were very easy to follow.
I have a number of Citizen automatic watches and have always been very satisfied with the design, quality and durability. I just purchased the Calendrier a s gift for a friend It is a dress watch and looks, and will likely run, like a watch 10 times the price. Very nice watch with tons of functionality! There aren't many reviews about it online. Shame! It's a hidden gem. I bought it for my wife (she loves her automatic watches, but they all lack the complications that this watch has). The quality looks excellent. The setup is pretty complicated. It's best to look up the manual based on the movement (8651) instead of the manual listed here. Overall very happy with the watch. If your wife/girlfriend loves functionality as much as she loves the design, this will be an amazing gift.

I love this watch. My very first grown up watch was a Citizen and it still keeps excellent time. I’m retired now and needed a bigger face to see the time. This Citizen Calendar watch lives up to all the positive points written about it. It, like my smaller Citizen it keeps excellent time. Setting the date and day are so easy, just follow the directions. This wonderful watch caught my eye because it smiled at me the first time I looked at it, sounds like a silly, but smiles are rare these days. Did I mention it’s easy to read, keeps excellent time, feels good on my wrist, and it smiles every time I look at it. I love it, and would purchase it again.
