Too dark and still hard to see for me :(

I ordered this watch thinking that it will be brighter and easy to read since its numbers are bigger. However, as soon as I got it, I realized it wasn't for me as I still find its background color too dark for my taste, so I ended up returning it. It's a pretty watch, it just doesn't suit me because I need a watch that has a brighter face which will be easier for me to see even at night.

Instead of blueish dial as on the picture, my dial is almost black providing poor time visibility.

Luminous hands do not glow in the dark

All is well except for one thing: This model has glow-in-the-dark-hands (according to product description). Well, no matter how much I hold it up to the light and then view the watch in the dark, those hands do not glow. If you need a watch with good luminosity in the dark, this watch is not it.

Stylish and comfortable

I love my new watch. It’s stylish and attractive without being too “blingy”. My only issue with it was requesting a specific bracelet size on the website, and receiving the watch with too-small of a bracelet. It came with extra links, but I did have to pay to have it sized up, which I feel negated having the bracelet size request on the website. In all other regards, this watch suits me perfectly.

The band seems to run a bit small. I had a Citizen prior to this one and the size was fine. I am wondering if extra links are available. The very best thing is you never have to buy batteries!
