Expected better

The watch is beautiful and looks fine, but I was worried it wasn’t sent new because it missed a protective cover on the watch face and the box wasn’t sealed. I emailed about this and now a week later no one can give me an answer if this is normal/standard. For that price, I expect a new product and fast answer to a simple question, i.e., would you send me a used watch and not tell me?

Reissue Regression

No manual included. Found one online and was excited to see, despite what some of the previous reviews claimed, a way to change the watch from °C to F! To my disappointment, this ability only applies to the original watch released in 1981, not any of the reissues. How a company somehow manages to offer less technology, in the exact same form factor, than they did 44 years ago is beyond me.
