Almost Fantastic

Currently owning a couple of Citizen watches I had high expectations for the CZ Smart watch and I have to say I’m a little disappointed. The watch doesn’t differ from the stock photos, and it certainly does all the things it is supposed to do, but several “little things” let it down in my opinion. Perhaps it’s simply the color - I chose (black/silver), but it feels a little “plain”. The band feels a too narrow and the case design seems a little off the mark. The face, even when customized falls flat and it just feels a little cheap. Again, lots of little things knocking it down from what could be a fantastic watch to just kind of “meh” watch for this price point. Functionally the watch works great as one might expect from Citizen. I was excited for the hybrid design and despite my criticism above, I think helps add some interest to the watch. The best part is the battery life and that helps offset some of the issues I have with the face knowing there must be a compromise with the “digital bits” to get this kind of charge life. Overall, I do like the watch and given the sales price I’ve decided to keep it and explore options for a band that better suits my taste. At full MSRP I’d probably have thought harder about that decision.

Nice watch

I really like the look of this watch. It can be dressy or casual. The rubber band is very comfortable to wear. The setup was pretty easy, the app walked me through everything and it was easy to understand. I like that it counts your steps and your heart-rate. The only flaw I have noticed is the buttons on the side are easily pushed in when I flex my wrist a certain way, and it happens quite often enough that it's annoying. Otherwise, its a really nice smart timepiece and I do enjoy being able to read my text messages when my phone is in another room.

Nice watch

I'll start by saying I don't wear watches. I like wearing this watch. I appreciate they classic look and elegance of the watch face without getting into the smart parts of it. I can dress up with it on. The added value is the convenience and features it has. I like the kindle-like screen behind the watch hands. Very crisp and the customization options give a chance to make it your own style. The watch is also a little on the large side. I'm a shorter than average person and it looks a little like I'm wearing "my dad's watch" and I'm not a big fan of the rubber wrist band it comes with, but I'm sure it can be swapped with something else.

Great mix of functionality and style!

This watch is exactly what I wanted in a smart watch. A clean design where the smart watch functions don't overshadow the design of the watch itself. From box to wrist I had it completely set up and customized to my likings in about 3 minutes. The information displayed on the screen can be customized in the mobile app and you can also customize what notifications you want turned on. The notifications are visible and easy to read. The battery life is probably what impressed me the most, on a full charge I got a little over two weeks out of it, one less charger I have to worry about always having on me in fear of it dying. The overall construction feels solid and durable and the strap is very soft and flexible. There's no "break in" period like with some leather bands or harder rubber bands. The only con I can think of is the push buttons are a bit large, I have a small wrist so having to adjust to different crown sizes is fairly common for me when wearing a new watch. I have noticed a few times where I have accidentally pushed one of the buttons while bending my wrist.
