Looks nice but disappointing

The watch looks really nice but the tech isn't really good. The watch keeps on losing connection to the phone. The description said 10 meters, not a chance. I keep losing connection within the house, on the same level, couple feet away and it's gone. When it's connected and you receive a notification at night, impossible to read, the light doesn't come on automatically, you need to double tap all the time as the light doesn't stay long enough for you to read. Contacted customer service, they told that they could take a look at it but I need to pay to ship it to them. My feeling is that I'll have to spend more money and they will tell me that the watch is fine. Wish I would have purchased a classic eco-drive watch for nights out and another ''real'' smart watch.

Not a competitive product

I decided to return this watch because I found it very difficult to utilize. The watchface is fine for a conventional watch but is very difficult to read, and the programming is challenging. Compared to other smartwatches, the usefulness factors are not up to the competition. I also found the screen to be very dark and barely legible. I wanted to like the watch and was intrigued by its long battery life between charges, but it just didn't make it for me.

I had to download three apps to run it

I received this product for free from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. Citizen is not a technology company. Citizen is not a wellness and fitness company. The watch weighs a ton. I ended up finding a Velcro cloth band online to change out because trying to sleep with the default bands on was silly. The watch isn’t particularly water proof. You’ll be fine in the rain I guess? The watch is hard to read. The screen is like a tiny terrible Kindle screen. Good luck. The software on the watch is laggy. You need three apps to run the watch. Google Fit, and two proprietary Citizen apps. They all need setup and accounts. What a mess. Citizen is so incredibly out of their depth here.

Love It but Not Perfect

THIS WATCH IS FOR LOVERS OF A CLASSIC LOOK BUT COMBINED WITH A FEW PERKS OF A SMART WATCH. What I like: 1) the look, 2) the ability to track steps and workouts 3) the ability to change bands 4) the ability to edit the items displayed on the watch 5) how the hands move as you navigate through the watch 6) the limited notifications I get from texts, called and other apps 7) the ability to turn off specific app's notifications 8) thanks to this watch, I owe less watches since it takes care of both the classic looks and the smart watch perks. What I dislike: 1) I use an Iphone and to download new faces I need google play (I am logged in in the browser and all but the app won't download. Not sure if it is a glitch) 2) the watch's sensors for when I have stopped my runs/walks is a bit too sensitive that if I put my hand up it stops the workout. Thankfully, it has vibration when this happens, so I just turn it back on 3) not all watch faces are customizable Verdict: perfect for the person who wants the look of a classic watch combined with limited smartwatch perks. If you expect this to be a Samsung or Apple Smart Watch, it won't be since this is a HYBRID. It is meant to be limited. Overall, I have received MANY COMPLIMENTS on this watch.
