Great all-around timepiece!

I bought this watch a few months ago when my other Citizen watch needed servicing. I figured a couple of Citizens could only be a good thing. To my surprise, this watch was superior in all aspects. Functionality, adaptability, and able to take a beating are the features that are most helpful when I travel. The water resistance was added bonus. So, I need not worry about taking it off when swimming.

Very good timepiece

I bought this watch over 16 years ago and still wearing it today. Never any issues with it. After setting the time the day I bought it, never had to set the time again.

Great looks with good features.

This is my fourth Citizen and I couldn't be happier with it. It's a wonderful compliment to my growing collection.

My favorite watch

Once I got the band adjusted to my taste (tip: purchase your own watch tools to do this), this watch has become my daily driver. Drop-dead accurate and with a number of outstanding features, it continually reminds me of why I prefer a conventional style watch over a 'smartwatch'. If you are on the fence and can afford it, then I highly recommend this piece.

My Favorite Of All My Citizen Watches

I think a watch purchase is extremely subjective, I really like the dial face, excellent night glow. Ease of operation is fine. It’s a bit heftier than other Citizens I own. Atomic timekeeping is just as accurate as my atomic wall clock, cellphone, etc. With a little practice, adjusting secondary time-zone is easy.

Second Skyhawk

To me, watches are equipment: not jewelry or status symbols, art, smart phones, waffle irons, etc. This watch does precisely what a watch is supposed to do: provide me with reliable, precise time information. I use practically every feature it has on regular basis. It also just happens to be as attractive as it is functional. This is my second Skyhawk. My first one is 10 years old, has taken some abuse, and is till precise to the second. I don't repeat mistakes. Here's an example.

Real longevity - over 14 yrs

This watch has been outstanding and trouble free for over 14 years now. It is amazing that it never needs winding or battery support and changes on its own during daylight saving time etc. It looks fabulous - the finish is still like new even after 14 years! We initially bought one for my son in spring of 2008 then I liked it so much I got the same one in 2011. They've both been great all these years. Great watch!
