I like the watch..it feels so great wearing it.good watch for real men
I purchased this watch about 3 months ago. The watch's design features are perfectly executed; all hands are in perfect coordination and the second hand strikes exactly over each of its 60 minute chapters. As far as I could see, there are no dust particles, stray eyelash, or anything else on the dial or under the crystal. The radio signal auto update system works very well too. The watch has just about every desirable feature a watch wearer could want. I know how to use a slide rule and can say the one here is accurate and very handy. I purposely disengaged the auto update system to see how accurate the watch will be over a 30 day period: It gained a little less than 5 seconds/month, that's less than 1 minute a year; good enough for me. My one subjective criticism is the watch's size and weight; it is quite a load on my 7" wrist. After the first week of wear, I replaced its massive metal bracelet with a "Watch Steward" elastic strap; reduced weight by 1/3 and provided for a more comfortable on-wrist strap. The only reason I did not give this watch a 5-Star rating was for this reason. Overall though, it is a pretty great watch.
When I saw this latest version of the Blue Angels Skyhawks I knew I had to have it. It looks amazing, has a sapphire crystal and micro adjustment on the bracelet. However it is th bracelet that is a total miss. It has very sharp edges and is just not comfortable over the course of a day. I take it off several times throughout the day and it feels like a sense of relief. The bracelet could also use a half link so that you can get the fit just right. The micro adjustment works but without the half link you might wear it too tight for summer and humidity or too loose the rest of the time.
This my second Blue Angel and neither has disappointed. Just a heads up. On my first watch, after a few years, the lettering on the bezel worn and had to be replaced.
Citizen has covered all the bases when it comes to incorporating technology in a watch. I am particularly pleased with its Eco Drive and Radio Controlled features. The instructions on the Citizenwatch.com for this watch are most helpful and easy to understand. So, select RX to check time signal it points to ‘No’ which is probably true for the time of day I tested it, but the signal source indicated was ‘Eur’ which one might question. Other features I’ve yet to explore. Maybe sizing could be more refined than 1/2 inch increments. It looks like the band could be adjusted by 1/4 increments, but I can’t say for certain. With the slightly larger size the watch wears somewhat like a bracelet which I prefer to a snug fit. There are warnings in the instructions about the environments to be avoided - it’s best to know and heed that advice. The watch was worn to a couple of social functions, people chatting, smiling and hand shaking and hugging. No one commented, ok. But one mustn’t dismiss the importance of a good impression, and this watch fills that role nicely.
With only two arms and wrists I can't justify owning as many Citizen Blue Angel watches as I would like to have. Will just have to be happy with the two that I know own!!
Own a navi hawk and upgraded to this blue angels watch and the compliments i get are very good

My wife ordered this for me for Christmas. I told her which one I wanted and we measured for the band. The packing slip said 7 inches which is what I measured, but I still had to add back in a link. Other than that, I love this watch. I had an older version that had quit doing things, and the crystal was very scratched. I was easily able to set my local time zone and look forward to a trip to Hawaii in February, when I can try out the dual time zones. Other than the band issue, the watch was nearly fully charged when I opened it after being in the box for a month. I am excited to use many of the features in the near future. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a watch that always knows what time it is and never needs winding or a new battery.
Every man needs a timeless watch such as this. An addition to his collection. He can’t stop talking about it.
