I Love my Citizens. I've taken them to the bottom of the ocean and everywhere else. My favorites are my Blue Angels. This one is my 3rd, I decided to go for the big bad titanium this time. These Promaster aviation watches are a bit big and bulky, but having the Titanium makes it feel like nothing at all. I'm excited to test the durability of this watch in my daily activities and adventures. I have to rate 4 stars because the atomic function never has a signal and I always have to set my watches manually, which is tedious, but once its set, you never have to set it again.
No instruction, unable to get watch siized, most jewelers will not touch watch. C/S is not willing to engage in helpful discussions. Loee watch after trial and error. This is not the way a classic Company should be.
I actually rate this 4.5, but the bracelet could use more fine tuning of length; my 25-year old Navihawk Blue Angel has a clasp that allows adjusting of length of less than a link. Also, a function to retract the hands out of the way of the world time display would be helpful.
The main reason I wanted to own this watch, is because as a young boy, I remember seeing the Blue Angels in my hometown of Erie, PA, and they fueled my dreams to not only become a pilot, but an Astronaut. Alas, 50 years later, and I'm neither, but my new watch makes me smile. I only have a couple problems with the watch...for one, it bothers me that I can't read the day/date for part of the day when the hands are covering that segment of the dial, not sure there's a remedy for that, the other, as a resident of the Bay Area and a baseball/football/basketball and hockey fan, I wish there was a Pacific Time Zone that said SFO instead of LAX! Hahaha!
