Very nice looking watches. Totally over the top setting instructions. Just Ridiculous. And if they ever lose power forget it, good luck getting them reset. I have 3 of these and cannot get them reset. I have several other Citizen Watches, 3 Promasters and just bought a fourth. but if they have these little display screens, in my opinion pass on them.
Tis is my second citizens watch. I love the watch, however, I have no idea on how to use the different features. Took me a half hour to figure out how to set the time. I needed a magnifying glass to figure it out. My first watch that I got years ago still runs but has lost its atomic feature. I considered repairing it but it would have cost as much as a new watch. When I called to make sure they were sending me my old watch back the rep slipped and said something about a trade in program but quickly change the subject after I questioned it.
Selecting the Home time was a little confusing until I realized that you set the Local Time and then swap the screens. I am still having trouble remembering how to set SMT (Daylight Saving Time) manually as I do not always get a strong signal at my house. I have not yet used the alarms. The signal tones are too quiet to hear so I am anxious to use an alarm to see what the volume will be. The wristband sizing was perfect and so far the watch matches my phone time to the second.
Very nice Titanium watch. Time accuracy is stunning. Only complaint is right digital window is small and dark. Manual could be more comprehensive. Do not know if digital section can be altered to black background, do not know how to operate outer dial ring. Case is a bit thick compared to stainless model.
Light, easy to read. Chronograph is cumbersome, however.
I LOVE this watch. Minor criticisms or it would be 5 stars. The manual could be better at describing some of the functionality. Also, I had them size the band, but they got it wrong.
This is my 5th Citizen, and my favorite. It looks great, it's light (titanium), and very legible. I do not like watches where it's hard to read the time. There's a lot of writing and symbols on the watch face, but it's still very easy/quick to read the time. It's big, but for my 7.5 inch wrist it looks just fine. If you have a smaller wrist, though, it could be too big. It's a little thick for my taste, but as a casual watch that works fine. Maybe less so if you wear a suit. Time will tell how long the orange accents will last, though, that's my only worry. It won't look good if they start chipping away with time. The alarms are World Time alarms, meaning you can set an alarm for 18h in Paris and it will sound at 11h in CST. Pretty nifty for international calls. It syncs time very easily from Texas, even without having to set it by a window at night. It's a keeper!
I bought my Citizen chronograph watch 18 years ago from an official showroom in Pakistan, and since that day, it has never let me down. Through all seasons, travels, and life events, it has delivered nothing but perfect time and reliable performance. Even after nearly two decades, the watch still looks elegant and functions flawlessly. That kind of quality and craftsmanship is rare — and it speaks volumes about Citizen as a brand. Now living in Houston, USA, I’m saving up to buy my next Citizen — possibly the Promaster Skyhawk or a new chronograph model. The passion I have for Citizen watches is something that’s grown with me over the years, and I can’t wait to continue this journey with a new timepiece on my wrist. Highly recommended for anyone who values precision, durability, and timeless style. Citizen truly earns its name — a brand for the people, built to last.
Great product. Very happy.
