I've had the watch for about a month now, and there are some positives, but a fair amount of negatives. The fitness tracking is highly inaccurate. For a 10k step day, the watch habitually undercounts 2.5k steps. The heart rate meter also struggles to accurately track your activity, show grossly under counts how much activity you're getting. It's also tough to pair with the citizen app. The other smart functions work well enough, but you have to turn off a lot of primary features for the watches battery to last the whole day. Running on only base functions, the watch lasts about 2 days. On the plus, the watch LOOKS great, but looks only get you so far.
Not enough watch faces. Battery is awful. Not very compatible with iOS. Geared more towards android. Not worth $300.
I gift this watch. It’s look nice but it’s battery timings is not good like 12 hours .when I bought I thought it’s battery will one day but it’s not doing well
Citizen Response
Bought watch Saturday from Amazon, returned the next day. Only thing I liked was the look, Battery didn't last as described. Did not stay connected to my iPhone. Had to start the whole process again to reconnect. Too much aggravation for money. My recommendation, save your money and don't buy it.
I've been using this watch a few month now and I must say, it does the job for being a watch. But I really hope Citizen will quickly add the possibility to download Spotify music on it. For me, it's the reason for having a smartwatch, so I don't have to carry a phone while doing sports. For now, I'm stuck with a 8Gb smartphone and no music on it....
Hardware is very poor. Hasn't SpO2, has an old processor 3100 (there is 4100 already), too thick. And too few working hours. Software is usual wearOS but due to small battery capacity it will need to charge every day.
Hard to program don’t stay in sync with phone tried many time’s
The battery will not last a full day & it keeps disconnecting from the app. Love the look & style, totally disappointed with the functionality.
I’m sending it back. It doesn’t work well with iPhone and the pictures don’t do it justice, they show a cool face but after a few seconds (when it goes to sleep) it reverts to a wall clock looking face and it’s lame.
Had it for a week before getting my new phone, it work excellent until my workout day then with the movement of my wrist and back~hand making contact with the watch button a couple times it shut off and never turn back on.
