It's a beautiful smart watch, very complicated. The battery leaves a lot to be desired! It has little battery life which I consider its weak point. I think Cintizen should review this battery issue.
It’s look great! For the price, the material can be better and battery life is very poor. As others have mentioned, it disconnects from the phone regularly. I expected a lot better connectivity to the phone and a fully charged battery barely lasts a full day, despite of minimizing the number of app notifications.

This Citizen - CZ Smart MX0007-59X is absolute beautiful. It is ver elegant and adds a nice touch to any outfit but is sporty enough to be worn at any time or situation. This watch has so many functions and keeps perfect time. I love that I can connect with my phone as well. I highly recommend this watch!
I absolutely love this men’s smart watch! It is very classy and modern-looking and it is very comfortable on my wrist. It was easy to set up and it’s also easy to operate. I love all the features and settings and the ease of use. The face is a nice size and everything is displayed nicely and easy to read. I am an athlete and love to use the heart monitor, music controls and gps during my fitness activities. They are very handy. I also love being able to see my text or call notifications displayed on screen. Overall, I feel that smart watch is very classy-looking, well made, performs well and I highly recommend it!

This watch gets some poor reviews due to not using the latest Snapdragon chip, but I tell you overall the watch is awesome! I absolutely did not want some boring, run of the mill rectangular smart watch that 99% of people own. This looks and feels like a quality, metal Citizen watch. I prefer the stock dark metal band, and think it looks great! The 46mm size is prefect as well on my wrist. I was concerned it might be too big but not at all. I'm 5'8", 215lbs and it looks excellent. As far as the smart features, it has WearOS by Google and not some proprietary OS like other watches, so it will scale for years to come. The charging daily is no big deal at all, at night I take it off (it's too heavy for me to wear to sleep for my liking anyway) and charge it. I use my old smaller smart watch to track sleeping, and use an app to sync the data. I get the best of both worlds. My only gripe (which I'm not removing any stars) is with the customer service at Citizen for warranty. I had a small issue with the band latching within 1 month, and the solutions presented were to send a part that wouldn't fix it, or make me pay for shipping to send it in for repair. I had the month less than 1 month! She proceeded to say since it had been less than 1 month they might be able to send a new watch. I don't need a watch that's silly, I just need a new or working band. She got rude with me saying I wasn't explaining the issue well, for which I apologized saying I was trying to articulate the issue best as possible and that I was a software engineer, not a watch engineer. She sighed and said, 'fine I'll send you a band, but next time you'll need to pay to send the watch in for repair." Super rude experience, but I'll consider it a 1 off, I still highly recommend the watch.

Watch face changes even though I set it on certain style
Not your typical smart watch. Looks like a conventional watch and does so much more. Looks rich and attractive, is durable and battery like is great. Easy to set up and use.
I have had and still have, several watches in my collection. This one is my 7th Citizen and 5th smart watch. Craftmanship is absolutely wonderful. If you are looking for a lot more class and style with tech in a watch, this should be at the top of your list. The band is stunning, the face is truly Citizen for sure. Now, unlike the intuitive UI Watch OS that is used by Samsung, this Wear OS is a bit behind personally. Battery life if you are as active as I am you will not be happy with. This is not your take it to the gym and daily activities smart watch. This is more of a dinner, business styling, events wearing piece. If I had to pick a smart watch for style with tech, this is your watch; if you are looking for active tech in a fairly stylish watch, this one is about 4th place in my book. Regrets? None; I have the other tech watches to go with my full daily activities, I needed this for the tech with Style.

The cost puts the watch at the high end of smart watches. I am hoping that Citizen takes customer feedback and address the feedback they receive to enhance future models and software upgrades.

Smart watch with heart rate. Watch face does not stay on face you pick but for a few seconds then goes to a muted screen. Sure battery conservation. But was the reason I returned a Mavado connect watch before.

Love this watch. The features are awesome. I wish there was a fully customizable battery feature that could be managed on the watch or in the app(like turning off the heartbeat sensor), but I can't figure it out. It would be cool if there was an ecodrive feature since the battery lasts about 2 days. I like how if your battery "dies" you still have the clock feature until it is completely depleted. I still have to see if i can create my own watch face or if I can only use the pre-designed faces. Overall I'd still give the watch 4 out of 5 due to the sheer design and effort put in on the first gen. I see the extra features coming in the future however, for now I am satisfied.

I'm a fan of Citizen watches (I have several, including ones I use for scuba diving and water sports), and I *do* like this one thus far. I pre-ordered this a few weeks ago and was very excited to get it this morning - it's my first smart watch, and part of the attraction was that, as an active guy (I swim, scuba dive, off road, etc), the design and ruggedness appeal to me. The black case and black stainless steel bracelet are gorgeous. I've spent the past hour or so going through set-up, reading the manual, etc, and it turns out that there's a difference between the website marketing and the manual that comes with it. The website states that it's water resistant to 3 atmospheres / 30 meters, but the manual states that you can't swim with it or get it wet. I called the Citizen technical support line, and at first they stated that it shouldn't get wet. When I pointed out that the website said it could, the rep consulted with someone else and said that it CAN be used for swimming, and the manual may just have generic precautions because most of their other watches aren't water resistant... but of course now I'm hesitant to do so. (To be clear - I'm talking about normal everyday water exposure - shower, swimming, boating, etc - not scuba diving.) This is the ONLY reason I'm giving it 4 stars instead of 5. Otherwise.... it's a very nice watch, easy to use (I've paired mine with an iPhone), and I'm looking forward to playing with it! It's well-packaged, the charging dongle is simple, and the WearOS seems to work nicely. It has a classy, elegant design, and would make a great gift.

This is a really nice looking and functioning watch as long as you are not connecting to an iphone. It constantly disconnects and actually limits some of my phone’s functions while connected. Don’t want to switch to an android phone so my only option is to use it without connecting to my phone which defeats the whole purpose of a smart watch.
I was so excited to get this watch. To get Citizen quality and Google technology. But I was disappointed. The watch arrived with no charge and no instructions for setting it up. The tutorial was super frustrating. The band was disconnected from the clasp. It was just frustrating and the quality does not at all feel worth the price.
Everything but the battery is great. I could not get through a full day without recharging. If they upgrade to Snapdragon 4100, I will buy another one.
Average smart watch features and the metal band is very cheaply made . Overall all this watch barely ranks average on the rating scale
Been a citizen fan for years and when I heard they have a smartwatch I wanted to try it. It works great with the exception that the battery life is horrible and I was getting vibrating alerts for my emails but not my text messages. I tried all different settings and no luck. It would come across my watch but if I wasn't looking at it I would have know I had a message. Maybe after a few updates and upgrades I will purchase another one. In the process 9f retuning it.
Well, let me say that I am new to smart watches. But, the CZ Smart Watch did not at all meet my expectations from the fine company Citizen. The overall look and material quality were nice but the functionality of the device is sub-par in my humble opinion. After finding that the battery life only lasted maybe almost a day without full function normal use, I was very disappointed. Then learning that it's hardware/software platform was only the same as a recently outdated Fossil smart watch model that sells for less. Well?! I had to return it and find a different smart watch to fit my needs, so that's what I did. Come on Citizen! You can do better!
The battery life doesn't last very long before needing a charge.
