I like the watch, but battery time is very short and the sleep interface doesn't capture all sleep time, and it is not possible to edit. Since that is my main reason for the watch, I am returning it.
Watch isn't holding a charge. Can't go 24 hours without losing the charge. Thus, my steps and everything are not accurate
I was not happy with this purchase at all. The battery only lasted a few hours
Loved the look of this watch. I did not want the ridiculous square Apple watch and I have been a fan of Citizen for over 20 years. I wanted to love and keep it but it would not stay paired with my iPhone. I restarted it more than three times trying to get all of the features to work but the app on the phone seems to not be cooperative no matter what I tried. Had to unfortunately return it.
I wanted it to work so badly. Was trying to get away from my usual go to for smart watch. Visually, it is everything I want my smart watch to look like. So beautiful. I use my smart watch for two main reasons. First to get my texts at work quickly from clients and second to track my workouts. I could not get the watch to pair properly. I reset it twice. Could only get phone calls, no texts. The watch barely stayed connected to the wifi. My workouts wouldn't connect with my heart rate. There are only options for "indoor and outdoor" workout. I connected Strava and google fit to get a weight training workout and it wouldn't take my heart rate at all. Even trying to troubleshoot with the online help seemed far more complicated than it should be. In the end I had 4 apps to try to do 2 simple tasks and could not get one of them to work. So sad to return this beauty.
The watch battery does not last very long. Would not connect or reconnect to an IPhone 15 several times without reseting the watch.
The look and feel of the watch are good. Very light weight. I bearly feel that I have it on which is good if you wear it 10 plus hours a day. However, the technical features could be vastly improved. Several immediate updates took it up to wear OS 3.5 which is nice but how long until 4.0 comes along. The stock exercise app counted my steps fairly accurate but never synced with Google Fit even though I downloaded and was running the Citizen Connected app. Plus other little sync annoyances that keep this watch from being a 5 star general.
My wife was looking for a dressier smart watch and something she could use with many of the fitness features but was more like jewelry. This watch performs really close with the options and features of her galaxy watch so learning the features and the set up was not difficult or time consuming. The watch is of the expected quality as the Citizen brand, only complaints would be the battery life between charges was greater, about 1 day before recharge Otherwise great product.
Battery lasts all day but needs to charge overnight. Full functionality with my Pixel. Would be nice to have more options for the watch face.
I'm surprised by the mixed reviews. My experience has been great so far. Set up was straightforward, I was able to connect to my phone after the second try. The watch does what I need it to do, I can view my text notifications quickly without picking up my phone, I can track my steps and overall activity, and download music for my morning run so I can leave my phone behind. The water resistance thing didn't make sense to me so I took a chance and showered with the watch on and it has been totally fine. I probably wouldn't take it snorkeling or diving though. I downloaded the YouQ app but personally it's more "stuff" than I need and I'm enjoying the CZ Smart without it. The battery life could be better. I do mini charges while I'm working at my desk and when I shower, similar to what I did with my apple watch, and that helps keep it charged overnight. I like the Citizen dial faces but wish there were more options. But overall a solid smartwatch for a reasonable price.
