I bought my wr 200 since it was self winding and sapphire crystal. If the 300 does the same as my 200, plan on returning it for repairs. Watch face turns the 12 o'clock position has turned to the 4 o'clock position. Screws in watch band come loose. Carry a Jewelers screw driver with you. The pins will fall out.
I would like the manufacturer of this fine watch to explain such categorization!
Walked into the Citizen boutique and asked to be directed to the mechanical watches. I was instantly struck by this stunningly beautiful and elegant but also rugged dive watch. The Myota 9012 movement is the smoothest seconds hand sweep I own and rivals my Swiss pieces. This watches specs are tremendous also, you can read them for your self so I wont repeat them. I will give special mention to the lume which is fantastic! Very easy to read all night. The Citizen warranty is also unheard of. You will love the watch.
This watch has a stunning dial and has received many compliments. There is a tendency for the link screws to become loose and the aluminum bezel scratches too easily. This watch varies about 5 - 10 seconds each day. This is a very heavy watch and a titanium version would be nice. I've taken this watch to -60 feet with any problems. Titanium, tight screws, extendable bracelet, and a scratch-proof bezel would have mad this watch a permanent keeper on my wrist.
I saw this watch and found it to be beautiful and visually attractive. The blue dial and color matched bezel really made it stand out. I also liked the protected crown. A nice touch that gave a look of beauty and strength. The bracelet design is very eye catching also. The movement viewed thru the case back is another enhancing feature. I would have given the watch a 5 star rating--- but, the movement accuracy did not rise to my expectations. It ran very accurately for about two weeks, then began to gain time at an increasing rate that could vary from 5 to 6 seconds per day to as much as 10 or more seconds per day. I'll probably have to take it to a dealer for adjustment. This is unacceptable to me for a watch in this price range. So, overall, a real beauty, but the movement needs more attention from Citizen.
I am a watch enthusiast owned Swiss watches like Rolex, Omega, Rado, Revue Thommen to Japsneses watches like Seiko, Orient. The craftmanship of the Citizen Grand Touring is by far the best, nothing come close to this perfection.
I own many timepieces. Swiss, Japanese, Russian Etc. Some costing twice as much as my Citizen Signature. Since I picked this one up 4 months ago, it has not left my wrist. Which is unheard of with my collection of 40+ watches. I'm actually thinking of selling off many of my timepieces, because I don't wear them anymore. The fit and finish rivals watches selling for much more. Its an amazing timepiece that will not disappoint you.
I bought this watch on a cruise to the Caribbean and the second i laid eyes on it i had to have it. It is such a beautiful watch and I wear it almost everyday. There is no battery because it is a self winding watch and it is very professional! I can wear this watch on any occasion. It is a must have accessory for any one.
This is one of the best for the price and looks that could beat the competition.
