I bought this watch 3 weeks ago and my review is par to sub par. I like the looks, I like the style and it seems rugged. Now here are things I don’t like. It is supposed to jave a 48 hour reserve but unless I wear it 24/7 it is dead after 6 to 8 hours. Also the sales representative was proud of the luminous hands but I cannot see it at all in the dark. Those 2 reasons are why I bought the watch. BTW this is my 3rd Citizen watch but not my favorite.
Looks good and stylish. Very light. Cons: Little chunky . Winding Rotor so noisy and i can hear it spinning on my wrist. Power reserve only 16 hours after wearing 24 hours.
Pros: amazing workmanship and attention to detail. Feels great when on my wrist (7.5”). Decent Lume and easy to read face. Made in Japan. Cons: only a minor “con”, but still have to mention it…the bezel has little to no contrast and the numbers on the bezel are hard to make out depending on the angle. Going forward, Citizen should design some contrast for the divers bezel to make it easier to see when using it to time a dive (or anything you need to time). Would rate it 4.85 stars If I could.
I've been collecting for 21 yrs now and let me tell you that this diver by Citizen ticks all the boxes! The strap is very comfortable and I have a 9" wrist, the 9051 is fantastic to say the least, and the spherical crystal is gorgeous from every angle, the watches details like the bezel texture along with those screws and the blue dial and the DLC titanium with Duratect all come together amazingly. To me it wears like a 44mm, it is extremely beautiful. Love the pop of lime green, 200 meters is all you'll ever need, bezel has great grip and action. Love the lime buckle party trick, nice touch Citizen! Highly recommend!
