Before purchasing this watch I occasionally wore another citizen chronograph watch. I love that one for special occasions such as weddings because it looks really nice with a suit. However, that case is a little too big for my wrist and I wanted something to wear everyday aside from my Apple Watch. I wasn’t overly sure how well the 40mm case would be on my wrist but it is perfect. I definitely recommend measuring your wrist for the band size. I measured mine and it came out to 190mm I ordered it with the specific band size and it fit perfectly right out of the box. The watch functions beautifully and I love the look of it. I consider it a win.
Simple, elegant, masterful
This was my first watch ever since I began my interest in watches. It’s perfect fits great and is a nice appealing everyday for me. Only thing is the crown being hard to twist but that’s it. Great dial
40 mm is a bit big for a woman's wrist, but I appreciate the easy readability of this watch. Lume is clearly visible at night without being distracting.
Tired of battery watches, I decided on an automatic. My choice brands are Seiko (my first automatic watch ever, a gift when I was 12 years old back in 1979!), Citizen and Bulova. Deciding on a watch is a tough thing for me, and after looking for a few hours on all these watch sites, during various days, I settled on this one. I was aware of how nice dark blue looks on a watch face and how it lightly changes in the light, so I knew it would look great in person. Citizen offered sizing for the bracelet and I took them up on the offer...and messed up (so be very careful and measure to the red line of the sizing strip!). I ordered the watch on a Sunday and realized early Monday morning I had messed up. I contacted customer service and the watch had already been sized and shipped! Talk about fast. Two days later, it arrived and it was all I hoped it would be. A quick trip to a nearby jewelry store and minutes later, it fits me wonderfully and looks great. I love the round contour, and the crown being off-center makes it unique in design. I also chose this watch for the Sapphire crystal. My only wish is that the bracelet would have a 'deployant clasp' (flat when shut), but it was not a deal breaker.

Excellent application of long time technology. Self-wind watches do not depend on batteries, solar cells, or Bluetooth connection. Elegant, plain design. Enhances my cherished collection of Citizen watches.
This is my third Citizen watch. I have owned Omega, Breitling and Rolex watches over the years and for the money you just can’t beat Citizen. Eco-Drive and Automatics keep much better time than Rolex, super functional and affordable for everyone. The TSUYOSA model is great for sport or dress, look great and Citizen watches last forever. In my opinion simple and dependable is much better than complicated and expensive. Don’t hesitate to purchase one, you won’t regret it.
