Watch is even more beautiful in person. The purple dial is vibrant and watch has a nice shine to it. The size of the watch is perfect for my wrist. Definitely worth the purchase as it looks classy and fancy at the same time.
The watch is great watch. This watch has the look and feel of a much more expensive watch. Only downside is the font on the date function is very basic and does not match the aesthetic.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I bought the Citizen Tsuyosa 37mm for my wife and she absolutely loves it. The 37mm size is perfect, the design is elegant, and the quality feels incredible for the price. Citizen is my favorite watch brand, and this watch was the perfect mix of style and everyday comfort.
My husband purchased this watch after mentioning the purple dial to him. It looks better in person and on my wrist. It's my new favorite watch. The movement is also beautiful and I know it will last! Citizen Quality!2
I purchased this to replace an older watch from a competing brand. Before the purchase I did a great deal of research including looking into watches many times more expensive from European luxury companies. I decided that the Citizen was the best compromise of beauty, value, and features. It is a classic design in a fun color. Dressy enough but also casual enough. Nice features including a date and glow in the dark hands. And quite reasonably priced for a mechanical watch at under $500. I don't regret the purchase but I want to point out several very minor annoying problems with the design for anyone who is considering the watch. First, though the watch mechanism is made in Japan, the band is made in China, which isn't obviously displayed on the product description. The band is extremely hard to resize at home. I had Citizen resize it but it was a tiny bit too tight I wanted to add in one link but it was impossible to get the pins out. I was able to move the band over one notch on the clasp and it is fine now but it should actually be possible to resize at home and if not they should say so. Another annoyance: the magnified date looks ridiculous. Biggest annoyance: the watch says it has a 40 hour power reserve but it winds down to a stop overnight if not worn for at least 7-8 hours per day. my last mechanical watch was fine after 30-40 minutes of wearing. This is really inconvenient! final annoyance: the illumination is a feature I really wanted and a deciding factor for me in purchasing this watch but the hands are very slender and the illumination is only on the tips so when they overlap with the number markers (say 4:05 am) it is almost impossible to see them or know the time. I like the watch but note after weeks of wearing I do wonder if I should've purchased one of the much more expensive ones I'd considered. Then again, this is thousands of dollars cheaper and I know it is an excellent watch at a very reasonable price.
Great quality and service. The watch works awesomely and I love the japan movement. The watch comes in many colors.
I purchased the purple dial Tsuyosa 37 for my wife as a surprise gift for our upcoming cruise out of Miami next month. She loves it and doesn’t wear her smart watch any more. If you think about it, who has ever felt an emotional connection to a smart watch? She wears it daily to keep it wound up. The purple goes with anything according to her.
It’s such a distraction on my wrist!! I can’t stop looking at it, absolutely gorgeous watch.
My second automatic and first from Citizen is a great one! I picked it up on a Black Friday sale and egen at full MSRP, it still would've been worth it. Very comfortable bracelet, lightweight, unobtrusive, yada yada. Let's get to the main feature: THAT dial. Stunningly pretty, far moreso than any online picture will let on. Absolutely love this thing. My only complaints (one small, one big) is that a) the small crown makes hand-winding a bit annoying but not impossible, and b) DITCH THE CYCLOPS CITIZEN! This isn't a diver, it's not a G-Shock competitor, nobody is running an Iron Man with this on their wrist. It doesn't make sense to have a magnifier on a more dress-oriented design like this. Cyclops are ugly, kinda pointless, and in this case, completely detract from an otherwise very elegant and classy look. Make it an optional add-on like the sizing is or something, but please stop ruining this piece's sharp looks with that dumb little growth. Anyway, cyclops aside, this is a well-priced, very good looking, comfortable, and practical daily driver that can easily dress up or down depending on the occasion. Definitely interested in more color variants!
