A true aviator's chronograph!

As a long-time Sikorsky helicopter pilot, when I saw this watch I had to have it! I've owned other Citizen aviator watches before and this one is a great improvement over earlier editions. I love the fact that it connects with Ft Collins and the Atomic Clock so it's incredibly accurate. The quick changing time zone function is also useful in my job as a pilot when flying across multiple time zones. There are so many great features in this watch, I know I won't be able to use them all! But it looks so damn good! The fit and finish is outstanding! The Sikorsky logo and the rotor blade hands are fantastic! I am going to be the envy of my fellow helicopter pilots when they see this baby!

Citizen Response Thank you for the wonderful review and feedback! It’s great to hear that your new Promaster x Sikorsky S-92 watch is a perfect match for your life as a Sikorsky pilot. We're glad you’re enjoying the precise timekeeping, quick time zone changes, and design details that are inspired by your profession. We're sure this watch will be a standout among your fellow pilots—enjoy every moment!

The Handsomest Of Them All

Been looking for the best Christmas gift for my husband. This would be his 2nd Eco-Drive watch as a Christmas gift from me. The 1st one being a versatile watch that goes well with casual to formal occasion. This watch caught my eye since he is so protective with his 1st Eco-Drive and would wear it if the occasion calls for it, but he is more into casual, relaxed, jeans-and-shirt kind of guy. Narrowed my option between this special edition watch and a limited edition one. I chose this piece because it doesn't only look handsome in the images, but also the handsomest when I opened the box and see it in person! The technology, quality, detail, craftsmanship, style and purpose, and most of all the collaboration and thought process that was rendered to this indeed special piece was absolutely phenomenal! I decided this is the one because I was inspired by its 'Search and Rescue' inscription at the back. My husband and I have been together for 25 years. Seven years of which was an enduring, long distance relationship. I am willing to share my gift message to him in this review (Your love never give up searching and rescuing me when I fell in love with you!) hoping someone will be inspired that a gift doesn't always count the value but the most important is the inspiration and meaniningful reason behind it. I cannot wait to see his face when he opens the box.

Rotorcraft Elements

This watch is beautiful. I have been collecting Citizen watches for almost 30 years, starting with an original Navihawk in college that still runs perfect. Retired UH-60 driver currently flying a competing product as well as PC-12. I was hesitant to get this at first, as 1) I am not an S-92 guy; and 2) I already have the watch it's based on, the blue Skyhawk A-T with the leather strap. Broke down and got it at a great price eventually. Super glad I did. It is definitely its own watch, visually distinct from the A-T. The silicon band is supremely comfortable. Writing this review to delineate the aviation-specific elements I have identified for those enthusiasts who might be curious. Also curious if anyone has found any others. 1 - Watch hands represent high-viz blades 2 - Black outer/white inner scales of the E6-B look like main landing gear wheels/tires. This is the one that really sets it apart visually for me. 3 - Second hand represents black Night Sun with a yellow beam 4 - The pair of hexagonal studs in each strap represent blade pins/castellated nuts. Castellated nut theme is also shown around the mode selector on both the Sikorsky and regular A-T. 5 - Mode select pointer is blue, a quick check of S-92 cockpit photos shows the secondary RMI needle in blue, which is true of most EFIS systems (primary CDI will be magenta or green depending on selected nav source). 6 - The three smaller dials on top, although already on the A-T, seem to have design elements from the S-92, which has three small backup ("peanut") gauges above the middle screen. The red in these dials seems inspired by the three fire switches immediately above. To really push the analogy, the crosshairs in the small dial on the right could represent an older sperry-style flight director which the S-92 appears to have instead of more modern command bars. From both a long-time Siorsky pilot and owner of many Citizens, this watch really makes me happy. Thanks for that.
