I purchased the 40th anniversary edition of this Promaster because back in the day I didn't get a chance to buy an original one (I did buy a few of the later models though). It's a great addition to my Promaster collection.
This watch is amazing. I got this 40th anniversary edition because I have the original model for over 30 years, and it is still working good. The design is great and still functional. This was watch made me a watch enthusiast. Best model ever, no doubt this is my favorite watch of all time. And now I have a new one.
Pure 80s Aqualand goodness! I love throwing this on during the summer and jumping in the water. Looks super funky and I like the ironic two tone. Get it while you can as these are limited.

I owned the original dive watch from 40 years ago. I used it a few times for shallow dives. Unfortunately I didn't get the batteries out before it was damaged beyond repair. This anniversary edition strongly resembles the original with subtle differences. I believe that the strap is of a better material and the buckle is a different color, otherwise it's basically the same appearance wise. Functionality it's the same as well. Very satisfied with timepiece.
It’s great! Matches my JP2000 perfect! Wish they would have kept the scuba tank though, but the hard case is nice. If you like Aqualands, it’s a must have!
Classic dive watch that is very comfortable to wear. Highly recommended!
