In an attempt to disconnect from the "smartwatch" realm, I bought this for field work. I'm military, and I work outside from time to time. This timepiece is solid. It's effective as a digi/ani watch. However, the band is a huge gripe. It legitimately makes my wrist go numb with the lack of pliability. The hands do get in the way of the digital display, which can be a little frustrating until you consider that the point is to be dual-function for multiple ways to read the time. All in all I will make this watch work and will test it in the field soon.
Great watch but most modern analog/digital watches have a function that allows the user to hit the button and move the hands away from display so they can see the display. This watch does not have that.
Nice watch plenty of features. The watch band is small even for a medium size person, so it be nice if it came with a larger one or more than one band.
I purchased this watch back in April but waited until June to submit a review. Yes, the band is stiff when first purchased. Give it time. Mine eventually moulded to my wrist and it now fits perfectly. The lume, when exposed to light is quite bright, and clearly illuminates the dial. The digital display is quite legible in various light conditions and can be changed to display different information. There have been some reviews stating that the watch was difficult to set up. As we said in the military, RTFM. (Read The ******* Manual) It is actually intuitive and most of the process is handled by the crown. No regrets over purchasing this watch, and it has become my daily wear, and my eighth Citizen watch.
