Promaster Land U822

I have a Citizen military style watch now that a bought several years ago. Just a plain watch with day/date. A great little watch. However, I could not get a replacement band from you so I went elsewhere. Not satisfied at all. So I decided to go with the Promaster Land U822. I think I am going to like it better than my other one which I love. The U822 has way more features then I will ever use but it has what I want and is beautiful and very cool. If it is half as good as my old one I will be extremely happy. The instructions were a little hard to understand, once I had them printed out, but I managed. I’m going to love this watch and I was able to catch it on a Black Friday sale. Thank you very much. Terry Whitehead.

Nice watch, tight fit, customer service lacking

The watch is great, however, be warned, know your size as it's a tight fit. I've contacted customer service a couple of times and it's taken them over a week to respond with the only option of purchasing another band, which I was prepared to do. Little did I know, it would be $144, and it's on backorder of 8 weeks! They didn't even offer a solution of how to replace the band. The back & forth is unnecessary - they can provide all the information and options in one message, but yet again, I need to respond to inquire (with follow-ups) and wait, who knows how long, for a response. I'd give 5 stars, if it wasn't for the lacking customer service. Again, the watch is great, nice features. I can wear it casually, or out to dinner.

A watch that accurately tells the time, and looks good doing it.

I have only had this watch for about a week but so far I like it. It took a little while to figure out the settings but not too bad. I ended up immediately replacing the strap with a green NATO strap which looks much better and it more comfortable...and secure. All of my mechanical automatic watches seem to be running either too slow or too fast and I don't have the desire to service them so that's why I went with the Promaster. The GMT function is nice to have and I think this watch will be my everyday go to.
